Gerald William "Jerry" Trainor (born January 21, 1977) is an American actor. He is known for his roles in the Nickelodeon shows Drake & Josh (as Crazy Steve) and iCarly (as Spencer Shay).
Trainor was born and raised in San Diego, California, the son of Bill Trainor and Madelyn (née McNenly) Trainor. Trainor studied improv at the Groundlings school in Los Angeles. Trainor also studied theatre at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
His first television role was in the MTV series Undressed as Eric. Some of his other television credits include Law & Order, Angel, and Malcolm in the Middle. His first recurring TV role was as Brian "the A.V. guy" on Crossing Jordan. He has had a number of small roles in films such as the science fiction drama Donnie Darko and the cheerleader comedy Bring It On Again. He appeared on the web series Hungry Girl. He also had a recurring role in the Nickelodeon TV show Drake & Josh as "Crazy" Steve, a movie theater worker from 2004 to 2007 and starred in his second appearance in the Nickelodeon show iCarly as Spencer Shay, the older brother and guardian of Miranda Cosgrove's title character from 2007 to 2012. He completed the 2008 music-themed comedy Wreckless Epic, in which he stars. Trainor stars in his third role on Nickelodeon as in the animated series T.U.F.F. Puppy as the voice of the title character Dudley Puppy. He also starred alongside iCarly co-star Jennette McCurdy in the television movie Best Player, his fourth time on Nickelodeon as an actor. He played Quincy Johnson, a video game enthusiast whose main competition in a video gaming contest is McCurdy's character. In 2013, Trainor had his fifth role on Nickelodeon in the short-lived show Wendell and Vinnie as Vinnie, the uncle and guardian to Buddy Handleson's character Wendell.
Jared Drake Bell (born June 27, 1986) is an American actor, voice actor, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Born in Newport Beach, California, he began his career as an actor in the early 1990s at the age of five with his first televised appearance on Home Improvement. Bell also appeared in several commercials, such as one for Pokémon Red and Blue. He is known for his starring roles on Nickelodeon's The Amanda Show, and its spin-off, Drake & Josh. Bell starred in a trilogy of The Fairly OddParents movies on Nickelodeon. Bell is the voice of Peter Parker / Spider-Man in the animated series Ultimate Spider-Man on Disney XD. Bell appeared on ABC's reality TV series Splash.
In addition to acting, Bell has a career in music during the early 2000s, at the time of his appearances on The Amanda Show, named Drake 24/7. He also co-wrote and performed the theme song to Drake & Josh, entitled "Found a Way." In 2005 he independently released his debut album, Telegraph, released under Bell's own name. His second album, It's Only Time, was released in 2006 after signing with Universal Motown Records and debuted at #81 on the Billboard 200, selling over 23,000 copies its first week of release. It's Only Time has sold 178,000 copies in the United States as of 2012. His first video album, Drake Bell In Concert, was released in 2008. It debuted at #81 on the Top 100 Mexican Albums Chart. Bell released an EP in 2011 called A Reminder independently. In 2014, Bell released his third album, Ready Steady Go! under indie label Surfdog Records. Ready Steady Go! debuted at #182 on the Billboard 200, and sold 2,000 copies in its first week of release.
Jennette Michelle Faye McCurdy (born June 26, 1992) is an American actress, screenwriter, producer, singer and songwriter. She is best known for her role as Sam Puckett on the Nickelodeon sitcom iCarly and its spin-off series Sam & Cat. She has also appeared in a number of television series, including Victorious, Zoey 101, True Jackson VP, Malcolm in the Middle, and Lincoln Heights and has also produced, written and starred in her own online series What's Next for Sarah?. Since May 2015, she has starred in the Netflix / City series Between.
McCurdy was born in Long Beach, California and grew up in Garden Grove, California. She has three older brothers named Marcus, Scott, and Dustin. She is of Dutch, French, Irish, Italian, and Swedish heritage. McCurdy gained interest in acting upon watching Harrison Ford in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope after her mother recovered from breast cancer.
McCurdy started her acting career in 2000 at the age of eight on MADtv. Since then she appeared in television series, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Malcolm in the Middle, Lincoln Heights, Will & Grace, The Penguins of Madagascar, Zoey 101, True Jackson, VP, Law and Order SVU, Medium, Judging Amy, The Inside, Karen Sisco, Over There, and Close to Home. In 2003, she had the chance to act with her inspiration, Harrison Ford, in the film Hollywood Homicide. In 2005, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Television Series – Guest Starring Young Actress for her performance in Strong Medicine as Hailey Campos. She has also appeared in several commercials, such as one for Sprint and a public service announcement on crossing the road safely.
