If we decide to continue with IOPS, we'll have to make some choices about what we focus on, at least at the international level. Roughly speaking, there are two directions we may go. Either one is only possible if enough members cooperate actively. Everything here depends on the volunteer activities of the members, and we do not have the means to do everything we might want to do.

In the first one, the focus will be on empowering the members in their daily activism. The website already offers blogs for telling other members about your experiences, successes and frustrations, forums for discussing issues and problems encountered, and projects in which members can work closely together. There are various ways in which this can be strengthened.

In the second one, the focus is on outward-directed activity, such as by formulating and publishing opinion pieces and policy proposals.

6. Which direction for IOPS would you most likely be inclined to contribute to?
