Little is known about Episode VIII or the Han Solo movie. Regarding Episode VIII, many of the film's actors, including Daisy Ridley (Rey) and John Boyega (Finn), have said it will be "darker" than The Force Awakens, but it remains to be seen what that means.
As for the Han Solo film, we recently learned that Alden Ehrenreich will play the iconic smuggler. Ehrenreich was seen most recently in the Coen brothers' comedy Hail Caesar!, and also appeared in Stoker and Woody Allen's Blue Jasmine.
