RESUME
Andrew Oliver, the English rock/pop pianist and vocalist, is available for pianobar work in hotels, restaurants and cruise ships worldwide. Based in Hamburg Germany and Paphos Cyprus, he has played all types of venues and is particularly experienced in upfront, lively, party music, popular in pianobars, as well as the laid back dinner jazz style suitable for lounges and restaurants. He has a repertoire of over 250 pop songs and 100 jazz standards. He can perform with or without backing tracks.
Andrew’s piano style is rock/pop and his voice is like Elton John. Andrew talks to his audience, encourages requests and really gets them involved in the show. He has played all over Europe including Norway, the home of up-front pianobar. Andrew has also entertained tourists of just about every nationality in the UK, Caribbean and Mediterranean holiday resorts and also aboard British, American and Scandinavian cruise ships.
Andrew Oliver started piano lessons aged nine and joined the local church choir soon after. In his teenage years Andrew played piano, percussion, recorder, clarinet and tuba and sang with many youth classical ensembles, choirs and orchestras. With five years at Music College, Andrew added composition, song writing and arranging to his developing performing skills. After college he joined various top forty cover bands and toured cabaret venues, nightclubs and theatres throughout the UK. Later, Andrew became Musical Director for many theatre shows, musicals and cabarets before developing his own act. He performed in Abba, Dire Straits, Eagles and Chas & Dave tribute bands and toured his Elton John tribute show for over 20 years, appearing at theatres, hotels, nightclubs and corporate venues from Singapore to Spain and Cape Town to Cairo.

Oliver Cotton (born 20 June 1944 in London) is an English actor, known for his work on stage, TV and film.
After training at the Drama Centre London, he has worked extensively at the Royal National Theatre playing in many productions including The Royal Hunt of the Sun, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Much Ado About Nothing, As You Like It, Oedipus, In His Own Write, Hamlet, Tamburlaine, No Man's Land, The Passion, Despatches, Half Life, The World Turned Upside Down, Julius Caesar, The Madras House, The Man With the Flower in His Mouth, Tales from the Vienna Woods, The Crucible, Piano, Troilus and Cressida, Money, Summerfolk, The Villain's Opera, Life x 3.
At the Royal Court Theatre, he has appeared in The Local Stigmatic, The Duchess of Malfi, Man is Man, The Enoch Show, Erronenous Zones, The Tutor by Brecht, Lear and Bingo by Edward Bond and Piano/Forte by Terry Johnson.
He was a founder member of Joint Stock appearing in their inaugural production The Speakers by Heathcote Williams. At the Royal Shakespeare Company he has played in The Marrying of Ann Leete, Henry VI, Edward IV, Richard III, The Plain Dealer, Some Americans Abroad by Richard Nelson, Brand by Ibsen.

Fearne Cotton (born 3 September 1981) is an English television and radio presenter who is known for presenting a number of popular TV programmes such as Top of the Pops and the Red Nose Day telethon. In 2007, she became the first regular female presenter of BBC Radio 1's Chart Show. She currently presents Radio 1's weekday mid-morning programme, having replaced long-time host Jo Whiley, and is a team captain on the comedy panel show Celebrity Juice.
Cotton was born in Northwood, London to Lyn and Mick Cotton; she has a younger brother, Jamie. Her father was a signwriter for events such as Live Aid and her mother worked in alternative therapy. She grew up in Eastcote, Hillingdon and was educated at Haydon School. She is a pescatarian and an animal lover. She runs 5 km at least three times a week, and has participated in several half marathons for charity. Former BBC executive Bill Cotton (1928–2008) was her paternal grandfather's cousin. He was the son of the well-known entertainer and band leader Billy Cotton.

Andrew Oliver, the English rock/pop pianist and vocalist, is available for pianobar work in hotels, restaurants and cruise ships worldwide. Andrew’s piano style is rock/pop and his voice is like Elton John. Andrew talks to his audience, encourages requests and really gets them involved in the show. He has played all over Europe including Norway, the home of up-front pianobar. Andrew has also entertained tourists of just about every nationality in the UK, Caribbean and Mediterranean holiday resorts and also aboard British, American and Scandinavian cruise ships.
Andrew Oliver started piano lessons aged nine and joined the local church choir soon after. In his teenage years Andrew played piano, percussion, recorder, clarinet and tuba and sang with many youth classical ensembles, choirs and orchestras. With five years at Music College, Andrew added composition, song writing and arranging to his developing performing skills. After college he joined various top forty cover bands and toured cabaret venues, nightclubs and theatres throughout the UK. Later, Andrew became Musical Director for many theatre shows, musicals and cabarets before developing his own act. He performed in Abba, Dire Straits, Eagles and Chas & Dave tribute bands and toured his Elton John tribute show for over 20 years, appearing at theatres, hotels, nightclubs and corporate venues from Singapore to Spain and Cape Town to Cairo.

A key figure in the first period of jazz history, Oliver's career was a mix of triumph and miscalculation. He was bandleading in New Orleans in the early years of the century, but it wasn't until the 1910s that he really rose above the other local groups. He went to Chicago in 1919 and created what became the Creole Jazz Band around 1921, which Louis Armstrong joined in 1922. They were a sensation, and made the first important group of records by black jazzmen. His later band, the Dixie Syncopators, was less successful, and turning down an offer from New York's Cotton Club may have been a crucial mistake (it went to Duke Ellington). Though he was still touring and recording, he was out of fashion by the early '30s and was often barely able to play, owing to poor teeth. He died in Savannah, Georgia, reduced to working as a pool-hall janitor (COOK, Richard; MORTON, Brian. The Penguin Guide to Jazz Recordings. 8th edition. London: Penguin Books, 2006, p. 997).
