With a new album set to be released this summer, Four Year Strong reminded us why we've been fans of the Worcester, Massachusetts group for years when they returned to the UK last month for the Pure Noise Records UK tour.
Whilst for many FYS are known for their brand of "easycore", they're a diverse group who can are able to slow things down in an smooth, acoustic manner. And that is what they did when we sat down with Dan and Alan from the band as they produced a four-song Already Heard Session. Here is the first of those four songs - 'Find My Way Back'.

Brief Biography:
In Spring 2019 Recluse return to the studio to record their third album. This track is a live studio demo recorded late 2018.
Following on from their highly praised debut studio album Crooked Heart, Recluse released their 2nd album The Quiet Hours throughout 2015. Progressing from the darkly lyrical "slow burning, chunky, bluesy, riff-fest" (Metal Talk) of their debut album Crooked Heart, Recluse reconvened in the winter of 2014 to record The Quiet Hours with Doom guru Chi Lameo (Spider Kitten) at his own Pentastar Studios. Expanding on their sound, The Quiet Hours was a darker, heavier and more complex album than it's predecessor that more suitably captures the heavy groove of the band's live act.
Recluse have played the local South Wales scene and festivals throughout the UK with a great response to their dynamic and powerful live show. Recluse regularly play alongside the UK's up-and-coming bands such as Henry's Funeral Shoe, Kyshera, Bad Sign and Spider Kitten and supporting established world touring bands such as My Vitriol and Dorje.
Drawing comparisons to Soundgarden, Queens Of The Stone Age and the desert rock scene, The Queit Hours seamlessly blended the moody, acoustic-driven calmness of songs such as 'Bury Us Separately' with the driving heaviness of tracks such as 'Machine's Way' and 'Soothe'.

Later (talk show)
Later was a nightly half-hour-long talk show that ran on NBC from 1988 until 2001. Later typically aired for half an hour at 1:30 a.m. following Late Night with David Letterman from 1988 to 1993, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien from 1993 to 2001. It was succeeded by Last Call with Carson Daly in 2002.
Nominations and awards
During Bob Costas' tenure as host, the show won the 1993 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Informational Series. It was nominated in the same category in 1992, and in the Outstanding Achievement in Graphic Design and Title Sequences category (currently called the Main Title Design category) in 1989.
History
1988–1994: Bob Costas
Sportscaster Bob Costas hosted Later from 1988 until 1994. Created and produced by Dick Ebersol, the program in this period was something of a break from the typical American TV talk show format of the era, featuring Costas and a single guest having an intense conversation for the entire half hour, without a house band, opening monologue, studio audience or guest musical performances, similar to what Tom Snyder had done on Tomorrow in a similar timeslot during the 1970s and would again do on the The Late Late Show in the mid-1990s. Later was taped in New York City at GE Building's famous Studio 8H, and occasionally in Los Angeles. Costas interviewed a single guest for 45 minutes to an hour in real time before turning the material over to editors, who condensed it down to 22 minutes plus commercials. On several occasions, an interview with a particularly noteworthy guest (examples include Paul McCartney, Don Rickles and Martin Scorsese) was shown over multiple nights. These in-depth discussions won Costas much praise for his interviewing skills. Costas resided in St. Louis all through his run on Later, flying to New York City once per week to shoot a week worth of shows, recording all four in a single day.

Later was a monthly men's magazine (and "British lad magazine") published by IPC Media from April 1999 to early 2001.
History and profile
Later was established in 1999. In an interview with Sam Delaney (who was deputy editor of Later in 2001 when he was 24 years old) in Heat magazine, "Later [was] designed to be Loaded for settled men in their 30s".
The UK band Madness was interviewed in the September 1999 issue.
In October 1999, Later featured an article on Tiswas, a 1974-1982 UK children's television series.
In January 2000, Mid Night Club, a Japanese street racing gang, was featured in an article by Andy Wilman.
In April 2000, "the editor of Later magazine had declared fatherhood 'the new rock 'n' roll'" and "better known for showing men how to nurse their pints than their kids, supplemented its usual fare (scantily clad models, gizmos, booze, fighting and sports) with a section called 'Dad.' In an earnest attempt to meld adolescent recklessness and adult responsibility, its pages have included reviews of the toys a man can 'enjoy' with his children (Action Man figures, super-soakers and remote-control racing cars) as well as advice on whether children should 'know Daddy's drunk' or whether he should 'pretend to be a normal sober human being.'"

With a new album set to be released this summer, Four Year Strong reminded us why we've been fans of the Worcester, Massachusetts group for years when they returned to the UK last month for the Pure Noise Records UK tour.
Whilst for many FYS are known for their brand of "easycore", they're a diverse group who can are able to slow things down in an smooth, acoustic manner. And that is what they did when we sat down with Dan and Alan from the band as they produced a four-song Already Heard Session. Here is the first of those four songs - 'Find My Way Back'.

Brief Biography:
In Spring 2019 Recluse return to the studio to record their third album. This track is a live studio demo recorded late 2018.
Following on from their highly praised debut studio album Crooked Heart, Recluse released their 2nd album The Quiet Hours throughout 2015. Progressing from the darkly lyrical "slow burning, chunky, bluesy, riff-fest" (Metal Talk) of their debut album Crooked Heart, Recluse reconvened in the winter of 2014 to record The Quiet Hours with Doom guru Chi Lameo (Spider Kitten) at his own Pentastar Studios. Expanding on their sound, The Quiet Hours was a darker, heavier and more complex album than it's predecessor that more suitably captures the heavy groove of the band's live act.
Recluse have played the local South Wales scene and festivals throughout the UK with a great response to their dynamic and powerful live show. Recluse regularly play alongside the UK's up-and-coming bands such as Henry's Funeral Shoe, Kyshera, Bad Sign and Spider Kitten and supporting established world touring bands such as My Vitriol and Dorje.
Drawing comparisons to Soundgarden, Queens Of The Stone Age and the desert rock scene, The Queit Hours seamlessly blended the moody, acoustic-driven calmness of songs such as 'Bury Us Separately' with the driving heaviness of tracks such as 'Machine's Way' and 'Soothe'.

Brief Biography:
In Spring 2019 Recluse return to the studio to record their third album. This track is a live studio demo recorded late 2018.
Following on from their highly praised debut studio album Crooked Heart, Recluse released their 2nd album The Quiet Hours throughout 2015. Progressing from the darkly lyrical "slow burning, chunky, bluesy, riff-fest" (Metal Talk) of their debut album Crooked Heart, Recluse reconvened in the winter of 2014 to record The Quiet Hours with Doom guru Chi Lameo (Spider Kitten) at his own Pentastar Studios. Expanding on their sound, The Quiet Hours was a darker, heavier and more complex album than it's predecessor that more suitably captures the heavy groove of the band's live act.
Recluse have played the local South Wales scene and festivals throughout the UK with a great response to their dynamic and powerful live show. Recluse regularly play alongside the UK's up-and-coming bands such as Henry's Funeral Shoe, Kyshera, Bad Sign and Spider Kitten and supporting established world touring bands such as My Vitriol and Dorje.
Drawing comparisons to Soundgarden, Queens Of The Stone Age and the desert rock scene, The Queit Hours seamlessly blended the moody, acoustic-driven calmness of songs such as 'Bury Us Separately' with the driving heaviness of tracks such as 'Machine's Way' and 'Soothe'.

With a new album set to be released this summer, Four Year Strong reminded us why we've been fans of the Worcester, Massachusetts group for years when they returned to the UK last month for the Pure Noise Records UK tour.
Whilst for many FYS are known for their brand of "easycore", they're a diverse group who can are able to slow things down in an smooth, acoustic manner. And that is what they did when we sat down with Dan and Alan from the band as they produced a four-song Already Heard Session. Here is the second of those four songs - 'One Step At A Time'.
'One Step At A Time' appears on 'Enemy Of The World' which is out now.
