Christopher Peterson may refer to:
Christopher Scott "Chris" Petersen (born October 13, 1964) is an American football coach, currently the head coach at the University of Washington.
Previously the head coach for eight seasons at Boise State University, Petersen guided the Broncos to two BCS bowl wins, the 2007 Fiesta Bowl and the 2010 Fiesta Bowl. He is the first and only two-time winner of the Paul "Bear" Bryant Award, which he won in 2006 and 2009. Petersen also won the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Award in 2010.
Born and raised in Yuba City, California, Petersen played safety and quarterback for the Honkers at Yuba City High School. After graduation in 1983, he played quarterback for the Sacramento City College Panthers for two seasons, then transferred to non-scholarship UC Davis, then in Division II. He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology in 1988 and a master's degree in education from UC Davis.
Petersen began his coaching career in 1987 as the head freshman coach at UC Davis under Hall of Fame coach Jim Sochor. In 1989 he became the receivers coach for the varsity, departing in 1992 to become the quarterbacks coach at Pittsburgh. While at Pittsburgh, he coached QB Alex Van Pelt to a season where he threw for over 3,100 yards with 20 TD.
The Peach Bowl, officially known as the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl for sponsorship purposes, is an annual college football bowl game played in Atlanta, Georgia since December 1968. The first three Peach Bowls were played at Grant Field on the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta. Between 1971 and 1992, Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium hosted the game. Since 1993, the Georgia Dome has played host. Mercedes-Benz Stadium is planned to begin hosting the game in the 2017-18 season. Since the 2014 season, the bowl has featured College Football Playoff matchups, with the 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025 games hosting a national semifinal.
The bowl has been sponsored by Chick-fil-A since 1997. From 2006 to 2013, it was officially referred to as simply the Chick-fil-A Bowl before the "Peach Bowl" name was restored as a condition of joining the College Football Playoff rotation.
Seven of the first ten meetings (all but the 1968, 1971, and 1974 games) pitted an Atlantic Coast Conference team against an at-large opponent. From 1993 until 2013, the game matched a Southeastern Conference team against one from the ACC. In 2005, the bowl hosted its first-ever matchup of top 10 ranked teams.
Chris is a short form of various names including Christopher, Christian, Christina, Christine, and Christos. Unlike these names, however, it does not indicate the person's gender although it is much more common for males to have this name than it is for females.
It is the preferred form of the full name of such notable individuals as Chris Tucker and Chris Penn. To find an article about one of these people, see List of all pages beginning with "Chris".
The word is also part of phrases, including Tropical Storm Chris, Ruth's Chris Steak House, and many more which refer to notable people, places, and things. For a list of these, see All pages with titles containing chris.
A head coach, senior coach, or manager is a professional at training and developing athletes. They typically hold a more public profile and are paid more than other coaches. In some sports such as association football, the head coach is usually called the manager, while in other sports such as Australian rules football they are generally termed a senior coach.
Other coaches are usually subordinate to the head coach, often in offensive positions or defensive positions, and occasionally proceeding down into individualized position coaches.
Head coaches in American football have different responsibilities depending on what level of the sport they are coaching.
The head coach has a much more complete hold on the intricacies of the team. He may have to perform the duties of a defensive or offensive coordinator.
Often, high school head coaches have to do more work off the field than on. It is important that head coaches in high school hire a competent and proactive coaching staff because when the head coach is pulled away from practice then he must be confident that his team is in good hands with his other coaches and staff. One of the most difficult issues, off the field, that head coaches must deal with is the parent although many coaches do not allow parental interactions in many casess. He must be able to handle any issues that parents may have with the way that the head coach is running the program, all along while staying professional and not being demeaning. Furthermore, a high school's head football coach often serves as his school's Athletic Coordinator or Director, which adds even further responsibilities to his job. In some jurisdictions, a high school head coach must also have a paying job within the school, almost always as a teacher.

The next day, she tries to get a job as a manicurist at Chris Peterson's barbershop, but since he has so little business, he refuses. While he is away, however, she sets up shop to ply her trade, and in no time the shop is swarming with men getting manicures and haircuts. Word gets to Tillie Prescott, the woman who Chris has been courting for the last ten years, and who he promised to marry when he gets enough money to get a second chair in his barbershop. Out of jealousy and desperation, she buys the chair for $300, but at a chamber of commerce outing Chris introduces Lulu as the one woman behind his success. This so humiliates and enrages Tillie she now refuses to marry Chris. Meanwhile, salesman Jack Hayden has gotten Tillie, who owns a dry goods store, to sign a contract with his firm, Sterling Stores, Inc., which guarantees an increase in business of at least 100%. She was unaware the contract also permitted the firm to take over the management of the store at their discretion, and they do, leaving Tillie without a store. When Chris sells the barbershop to Duke, he uses the proceeds to see a lawyer about breaking Tillie's contract. Duke bought the shop because he fell in love with Lulu, who sees Jack quite a lot. One one such date, Duke disguises himself as a robber to send Jack running for his life, and then forces Lulu into a cabin nearby. When she discovers his trick she's so angry she threatens to have him arrested for kidnapping, which angers Duke enough to spank her. The next day, the still angry Lulu goes out of town with Jack, leaving Chris and Duke to commiserate about their lost loves. But not for long!

An interview I had to shoot for one of my classes last year. It has some entertaining editing in it, I suggest watching it if, for nothing else, just the edits. Although it does have some good clips from the movies id shot prior to the taping, as well as some movies I made up on the spot.
