As the title says, this one is pretty experimental. Most of the instruments here are newly built, from me scouring the interwebs for production techniques and instruments. I'm also pushing my system to the limit here with a lot of parallel processing and notch filtering as well to try and boost my production values.
Also, the main drums of this track are a modified version of the drums from 'Throwing an Exception', where instead of putting samples into the Kong drum designer, I've actually arranged the samples themselves on wave tracks and done the processing on those tracks directly.

This is a small clip from an idea conceived by my friends and I circulating around one of our friends Matt Tarka. The idea of "I.T." was that my good friend Matt, the titular character, is an esteemed STLP participant. Helping run the high school by repairing anything that needed fixing. In order to help run things more efficiently, the superintendent nominates him to undergo a cloning program to create more Matt's to help run the school better. However, the cloning goes awry and faulty clones are created. Matt and a ragtag team of misfits must team up together to take them out before they kill and take over the school.
That's the synopsis. This is just a disjointed two scene video showing what it would kinda be like. We wanted to make a cheesy horror comedy short about him. This is a clip of what it would be like.

Proof of concept
A proof of concept (PoC) or a proof of principle is a realization of a certain method or idea to demonstrate its feasibility, or a demonstration in principle, whose purpose is to verify that some concept or theory has the potential of being used. A proof of concept is usually small and may or may not be complete.
Usage history
The appearance of the terms in news archives suggests it might have been in common use as long ago as 1973.
One of the early definitions of the term "proof of concept" was by Bruce Carsten in the context of a "proof of concept prototype" in the column "Carsten's Corner":
The column also provided definitions for the related but distinct terms 'breadboard', 'prototype', 'engineering prototype', and 'brassboard'
Examples
Filmmaking
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, 300, and Sin City were all shot in front of a greenscreen with almost all backgrounds and props computer-generated. All three used proof-of-concept short films. In the case of Sin City, the short film became the prologue of the final film.

As the title says, this one is pretty experimental. Most of the instruments here are newly built, from me scouring the interwebs for production techniques and instruments. I'm also pushing my system to the limit here with a lot of parallel processing and notch filtering as well to try and boost my production values.
Also, the main drums of this track are a modified version of the drums from 'Throwing an Exception', where instead of putting samples into the Kong drum designer, I've actually arranged the samples themselves on wave tracks and done the processing on those tracks directly.

This is a small clip from an idea conceived by my friends and I circulating around one of our friends Matt Tarka. The idea of "I.T." was that my good friend Matt, the titular character, is an esteemed STLP participant. Helping run the high school by repairing anything that needed fixing. In order to help run things more efficiently, the superintendent nominates him to undergo a cloning program to create more Matt's to help run the school better. However, the cloning goes awry and faulty clones are created. Matt and a ragtag team of misfits must team up together to take them out before they kill and take over the school.
That's the synopsis. This is just a disjointed two scene video showing what it would kinda be like. We wanted to make a cheesy horror comedy short about him. This is a clip of what it would be like.
