KIEV (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, around thirty Svoboda Party members disrupted the presentation of historian Pyotr Tolochko's book "Where Does the Russian Land Come From". They occupied the presentation hall, blocking the Rossotrudnichestvo staff inside.
"[Ukrainian] law enforcement let them go, they did not consider it as a hooligan action… It has been the third attack of that kind over the past two years. I would not say it was aggressive, however, the gates [of the building] were damaged," he told RIA Novosti Thursday.
"There were threats of physical violence towards academician Tolochko… The group was led by well-known member of Kiev City Council [Igor] Miroshnichenko."
He noted that such hooligan actions are damaging Ukraine's authority.
