I
drew myself standing on Hollywood Boulevard sporting one
of my tamer looks for that time. During the heyday of punk
rock my appearance and that of my friends changed almost
daily, from mismatched thriftstore clothes and shaved head
to black leather motorcycle jacket and modified mohawk haircut.
At
the time, few people wore such bizarre punk outfits on the
streets of Los Angeles, and I can remember turning heads
wherever I went. Most people just thought I was from Mars.
