Long-time followers know how much I love Luca Bacchettis long playing tracks. I think he always has the urge to atleast cross the 10 minute mark! His past releases really always just about pass 600 seconds. "Vento" is another top track, that tells the story of the oriental wind. It is unpredictable and moves direction whenever it wants. Luca just goes different routes than you would expect...where other's expect a big drop, he kills everything and just brings back the kick to totally restart the track, where a drop was expected only to give it's full effect in a totally different light. It's so refreshing to see arrangements out of the ordinary. Lovely overall percussions and an amazing production. Luca is an absolute master of his craft.

In the wake of what has been a most creative year, VENTO EP is now out! With a combination of new work and remixes, Luca Bacchetti seems to have delineated his sonic territory: a non categorisable soundscape oscillating between electronica and techno. With its ethnic influences, VENTO EP is the natural evolution of the GENESIS double EP, released in January 2016. VENTO (which in Italian means wind) was also one of the more intense moments of his DJ set at Burning Mans Robot Heart this year. It speaks clearly: travel is the common denominator of all of Lucas music, his 'sonic scenery, sounds that flow like moving images, as if we are watching the world unfold around us, precisely as if on a journey. Same thing for THE GREAT WIDE OPEN, where the colours are darker, sudden changes of scene tied together with elegance, as always a trademark of his work. Once again one has the sensation of holding a one way ticket to unforeseen destinations. NOTHING TO LOSE is the most electronic track on the EP, echoes of trip hop leading us into darkness, pierced by flashes of light, the underlying tension and groove deepening and becoming more intense. Here we can appreciate the collaborations from Stefano Onorati on keys and Andrea Guzzoletti with his dramatic trumpet solo in the finale. The EP ends with THE BIRTH OF VENTO, a 12 minutes journey, an ambient interpretation of the tittle track. If its true that The answer is blowin in the wind, lets hear what VENTO EP has to tell us.

a little ramble about the making of the PV
So, apparently, my PC isn't strong enough to have anymore Adobe installed, so I tried to utilize my Adobe Flash CS6 (I have a little experience with it, well, at least I can do tweening). But then, I found out that 40 seconds of 30fps DivX in 720p res equal to 4 GB! WHAT?! There goes my plan to create some more advanced flash animation... I think I'm only going to use it every once in a while.

Luka Modrić
Luka Modrić (Croatian pronunciation: [lûːka mǒːdrit͡ɕ]; born 9 September 1985) is a Croatian footballer who plays for Spanish club Real Madrid and the Croatia national team. Modrić plays mainly as a central midfielder but can also play as an attacking and defensive midfielder.
After showing promise with his hometown club Zadar's youth team, Modrić was signed by Dinamo Zagreb in 2002. His professional career began with spells on loan to Zrinjski Mostar and Inter Zaprešić. While he was playing for Dinamo Zagreb, they won three consecutive league titles and three domestic cups; with Modrić named Prva HNL "Player of the Year" in 2007. In 2008, he moved to English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, before moving to Real Madrid in mid-2012. In his second season at Real Madrid, the team won the UEFA Champions League.
Modrić made his debut as a Croatian international player against Argentina in March 2006; he has since participated in four major tournaments; the 2006 FIFA World Cup, the 2014 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2008 and 2012. He scored his first international goal in a friendly match against Italy, and was included in the UEFA "Team of the Tournament" at the Euro 2008, becoming only the second Croatian to ever achieve this honour. Brock Lesnar
Brock Edward Lesnar (/ˈlɛznər/; born July 12, 1977) is an American professional wrestler and former amateur wrestler, professional American football player, and mixed martial artist. He is currently signed to WWE. Lesnar is a four-time WWE (World Heavyweight) Champion, a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, and an NCAA Division I Heavyweight Wrestling Champion, making him the only person to have won a WWE championship, UFC championship, and NCAA championship in a career. Long-time followers know how much I love Luca Bacchettis long playing tracks. I think he always has the urge to atleast cross the 10 minute mark! His past releases really always just about pass 600 seconds. "Vento" is another top track, that tells the story of the oriental wind. It is unpredictable and moves direction whenever it wants. Luca just goes different routes than you would expect...where other's expect a big drop, he kills everything and just brings back the kick to totally restart the track, where a drop was expected only to give it's full effect in a totally different light. In the wake of what has been a most creative year, VENTO EP is now out! With a combination of new work and remixes, Luca Bacchetti seems to have delineated his sonic territory: a non categorisable soundscape oscillating between electronica and techno. With its ethnic influences, VENTO EP is the natural evolution of the GENESIS double EP, released in January 2016. VENTO (which in Italian means wind) was also one of the more intense moments of his DJ set at Burning Mans Robot Heart this year. Long-time followers know how much I love Luca Bacchettis long playing tracks. I think he always has the urge to atleast cross the 10 minute mark! His past releases really always just about pass 600 seconds. "Vento" is another top track, that tells the story of the oriental wind. It is unpredictable and moves direction whenever it wants. Luca just goes different routes than you would expect...where other's expect a big drop, he kills everything and just brings back the kick to totally restart the track, where a drop was expected only to give it's full effect in a totally different light. It's so refreshing to see arrangements out of the ordinary. Lovely overall percussions and an amazing production. Luca is an absolute master of his craft.

In the wake of what has been a most creative year, VENTO EP is now out! With a combination of new work and remixes, Luca Bacchetti seems to have delineated his sonic territory: a non categorisable soundscape oscillating between electronica and techno. With its ethnic influences, VENTO EP is the natural evolution of the GENESIS double EP, released in January 2016. VENTO (which in Italian means wind) was also one of the more intense moments of his DJ set at Burning Mans Robot Heart this year. It speaks clearly: travel is the common denominator of all of Lucas music, his 'sonic scenery, sounds that flow like moving images, as if we are watching the world unfold around us, precisely as if on a journey. Same thing for THE GREAT WIDE OPEN, where the colours are darker, sudden changes of scene tied together with elegance, as always a trademark of his work. Once again one has the sensation of holding a one way ticket to unforeseen destinations. So, apparently, my PC isn't strong enough to have anymore Adobe installed, so I tried to utilize my Adobe Flash CS6 (I have a little experience with it, well, at least I can do tweening). But then, I found out that 40 seconds of 30fps DivX in 720p res equal to 4 GB! WHAT?! There goes my plan to create some more advanced flash animation... I think I'm only going to use it every once in a while.

Long-time followers know how much I love Luca Bacchettis long playing tracks. I think he always has the urge to atleast cross the 10 minute mark! His past releases really always just about pass 600 seconds. "Vento" is another top track, that tells the story of the oriental wind. It is unpredictable and moves direction whenever it wants. Luca just goes different routes than you would expect...where other's expect a big drop, he kills everything and just brings back the kick to totally restart the track, where a drop was expected only to give it's full effect in a totally different light. It's so refreshing to see arrangements out of the ordinary. Lovely overall percussions and an amazing production. Luca is an absolute master of his craft.

In the wake of what has been a most creative year, VENTO EP is now out! With a combination of new work and remixes, Luca Bacchetti seems to have delineated his sonic territory: a non categorisable soundscape oscillating between electronica and techno. With its ethnic influences, VENTO EP is the natural evolution of the GENESIS double EP, released in January 2016. VENTO (which in Italian means wind) was also one of the more intense moments of his DJ set at Burning Mans Robot Heart this year. It speaks clearly: travel is the common denominator of all of Lucas music, his 'sonic scenery, sounds that flow like moving images, as if we are watching the world unfold around us, precisely as if on a journey. Same thing for THE GREAT WIDE OPEN, where the colours are darker, sudden changes of scene tied together with elegance, as always a trademark of his work. Once again one has the sensation of holding a one way ticket to unforeseen destinations. NOTHING TO LOSE is the most electronic track on the EP, echoes of trip hop leading us into darkness, pierced by flashes of light, the underlying tension and groove deepening and becoming more intense. Here we can appreciate the collaborations from Stefano Onorati on keys and Andrea Guzzoletti with his dramatic trumpet solo in the finale. The EP ends with THE BIRTH OF VENTO, a 12 minutes journey, an ambient interpretation of the tittle track. If its true that The answer is blowin in the wind, lets hear what VENTO EP has to tell us.

a little ramble about the making of the PV
So, apparently, my PC isn't strong enough to have anymore Adobe installed, so I tried to utilize my Adobe Flash CS6 (I have a little experience with it, well, at least I can do tweening). But then, I found out that 40 seconds of 30fps DivX in 720p res equal to 4 GB! WHAT?! There goes my plan to create some more advanced flash animation... I think I'm only going to use it every once in a while.

Second Solo Cross-Country Flight
This is my second solo cross-country flight. I took off from Reid-Hillview, flew to Stockton, then Fresno. Sadly, 10-15 seconds before touchdown in Fresno, battery died and there's nothing more to see. Fun stuff: prior to landing in Stockton, I got a bit lost and what I thought was airport was not. For those afraid of ATC, listen to how that part went (hint: they are not at all scary and they are very helpful).

Ruptly is going to provide a refeed of a Syrian concert dedicated to those who lost their lives in the liberation of the ancient city of Palmyra, Syria on Friday, May 6. Syrian Minister of Culture Issam Khalil and Syrian Minister of Tourism Bishr Riyad Yazigi are due to attend the event along with others Syrian ministers. In April, Palmyra was recaptured by the Syrian Army from the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL). Russian air strikes provided support to the Syrian armed forces in their re-taking of the town.
