John Gormley (born 4 August 1959) is a former Irish politician. He was the leader of the Irish Green Party from 2007 to 2011, and was a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin South–East constituency from 1997 to 2011. He served as Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government from 2007–11. He was previously the party spokesperson on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Health and Children, and chairman of the party.

Born in Dublin, Gormley was educated in St Munchin's College, Limerick, University College Dublin and the University of Freiburg. Prior to entering full-time politics he ran an academy of European languages. He has held many positions in the Green Party including Campaign Director for the successful anti-smog campaign in the 1980s. He contested his first general election in 1989, in the Dublin South–East constituency, but was not elected. He also unsuccessfully contested the 1989 Seanad election and 1992 general election. In 1990 he wrote The Green Guide For Ireland, containing advice on how to live and campaign environmentally.

Kevin Dwight Daniels Jr., known as Kevin Daniels (born December 9, 1976), is an American actor who started his career with a supporting role in the 1998 film Twelfth Night, or What You Will by director Nicholas Hytner. He has appeared in the film Hollywood Homicide, as well as the TV series Law & Order, Frasier, House and Modern Family, the latter in a recurring role. He has since participated in more than 20 productions.

He is starring in the 2012 Broadway play Magic/Bird playing the lead role of Magic Johnson.

Pamela Wallin, OC, SOM (born April 10, 1953) is a former Canadian television journalist and diplomat. On January 2, 2009, she was appointed to the Canadian Senate, where she sits as a Conservative.

Wallin was born in Wadena, Saskatchewan, and is of Swedish descent. Wallin spent much of her formative years in Wadena but completed her high school in Moose Jaw. After obtaining a degree in psychology and political science from the University of Saskatchewan, Regina Campus (now the University of Regina), she began her career as a social worker at the Saskatchewan Federal Penitentiary. Politically, she was a member of The Waffle, a left wing faction of the New Democratic Party. She has no children of her own, however, she has one goddaughter.

The following year, she began her career in journalism, joining CBC Radio's news division. In 1979, she joined the Ottawa bureau of the Toronto Star. In 1981, she joined CTV and became cohost, with Norm Perry, of Canada AM. In 1985, CTV named her its Ottawa bureau chief. She later rejoined Canada AM, hosting alongside J.D. Roberts.

William "Bill" E. Code is a politician and lawyer from Calgary, Alberta.

Bill Code made his first attempt at public office when he ran as a candidate for the Canadian House of Commons under the Liberal Party of Canada banner in the 1984 Canadian federal election in the riding of Calgary West. In that election he finished second, in a field of seven candidates. However he lost by a plurality of 32,000 votes to Jim Hawkes.

Bill Code next attempt at public office was being a candidate for the Alberta Liberal Party in the 1989 Senator in waiting election. He finished second, and has so far been the only Liberal to run in Alberta's 3 Senator in waiting elections.

Bill Code is a prominent member of both the Alberta and Federal Liberal parties and has worked behind the scenes for decades, especially in Calgary Elbow, where he has worked a few elections trying help the Liberal party unseat Ralph Klein.

Bill was also one of the lawyers involved in a messy defamation Law Suit launched by former Progressive Conservative Speaker of Legislative Assembly of Alberta Alberta Legislative Assembly David Carter and former Chief Parliamentary Counsel Mike Ritter against Stockwell Day. The lawsuit was brought about by the failure of the Principal Group.
