Plot: Running a restaurant in Punjab, idealist Canadian Simran, who resides with her spinster aunt, Harsimran, has four admirers, namely: Smeep Kang - who was fired from his last job, and is unemployed; Goldie Kakkad - who has been warned by the local police to not go near any female Non-Resident Indian; Jaswinder Bhalla - who can charm any woman; and wealthy industrialist, Ratan Singh Tata. Plot: Depressed after the passing of his father, Dharamraj; as well as his gorgeous girlfriend ditching him, Mumbai-based businessman Aditya Kashyap takes a BEST bus, goes to Chatrapati Shivaji Train Terminus, and boards a train. This is where he meets Geet Kaur Dhillon, who is returning home to Bhatinda, and who pays for his ticket. At Bar Nagar, he decides to leave, but she follows him, missing her train. They manage to get a ride to Ratlam, miss the train again, but eventually make it to Bhatinda. Once there, he gets to meet her family; her pretty sister, Roop; as well as her to-be betrothed, Manjeet Singh Mann. Before the engagement could be finalized, she manages to convince her family that she wants to marry Aditya, and they welcome him with open arms. Before he could take stock of these new developments, she elopes with him - not to get married - but to re-locate to Manali - where her true love, Anshuman, is waiting, and who she hopes to get married to.

Plot: Kusum is a quiet and simple school girl who is crazy about Bollywood movies. She thinks that in movies real life related things are shown. She is crazy about a movie-star and actor "Dharmendra" and he is her real-life hero, she will give anything to be near him. Now, she is growing but still unable to differentiate between reality of life and movie. Such is her obsession with movies and Dharmendra that she is not willing to even consider marriage with anyone other than Dharmendra himself. A young boy is deeply in love with her but the girl does not even care about him because she love that star (Dharmendra) too much. In the movie, girl's mama (Uncle) takes the help of the movie star and shows her the reality of movie making. In the end, the girl gets the points and decides to get married to the boy.

Anjuman (1970)

Plot: Ajuman is a courtesan who is considered a black mark on society. One of her customers is a rich married man whose every night is spent at Anjuman's "kotha" (dance bar). In order to save his Older brother, Waheed's character strikes a bargain with Anjuman, that he will frequent her kotha if she kicks out his older brother. Anjuman eventually ends up falling in love with the younger brother not knowing that he is in love with another girl. The height of the tragedy occurs when Bhabi comes to beg Anjuman to let go of her love and leave him alone. She is forced to sing at her own lovers wedding .. in retaliation she swallows poison and dies at the feet of her lover.
