Documentary Clip directed & edited by Michael Jobling Confetti & Spool Films The Hargreaves Project documentary snippet of their adventurous EP launch held at The Albert Hall, Nottingham on May 1st 2014 Along side a 50 piece children's choir and The Robin Hood Youth Orchestra. The Hargreaves Project was created by Elena and stephanie Hargreaves, two sisters from Nottingham as they wanted to inspire children from their community through the freedom of expression through music and spoken word poetry. In their own time the pair carried out a series of 10 weeks of work -shops at Milford Academy, educating children on how important it is to have a voice and the confidence to speak out about their feelings and beliefs. The girls also collaborated with the children from Milford Academy on their EP, also creating a charity single that the children featured on called 'Existing' where all funds received from sales as well as the Evening at The Albert Hall in Nottingham were donated to The Nottingham Education Trust . The pair chose this charity as it gives local young people the opportunity to pursue their dreams and ambitions in a supportive environment. The Hargreaves would like to thank the following people for their voluntary time, support and collaboration in this project. With these people the sister's vision of uniting with the next generation of children and influencing them to express themselves through poetry and music actually happened and was a huge success because of their love, contribution and time.
