"Beep Beep" is a song by The Playmates . Released in 1958. The song describes a duel between the drivers of a Cadillac and a Nash Rambler on the road. The song was on the Billboard Top 40 charts for twelve weeks, and peaked at #20 ( I've since been told it peaked at #4, my mistake ). It sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc. Concurrently with this song, American Motors (AMC) was setting production and sales records for the Rambler models.
The Playmates were a late 1950s vocal group, led by the pianist Chic Hetti (born Carl Cicchetti, 26 February 1930), drummer; Donny Conn (born Donald Claps, 29 March 1930); and Morey Carr (born 31 July 1932), all from Waterbury, Connecticut.~ From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

The Juan Dela Cruz Band was one of the first rock and roll bands in the Philippines. In December 1970, the band was featured in the first open field rock festival in the Philippines, the Antipolo Rock Festival. The band's popularity gained momentum in September 1971 when it backed up the production of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP). Then in December of the same year, the band garnered its crowning glory when again, for the first time in the Philippines, a rock group on its own, backed by a full symphony orchestra (the National Philharmonic) was presented in concert at the CCP.
The band originally had six members: Wally Gonzales (guitars and vocals), Rene Segueco (organ and vocals), Clifford Ho (bass and vocal), Romy Santos (wind instruments), Bobot Guerrero (drums), and Sandy Tagarro (lead vocals). Sandy Tagarro left the band before the band's first album "Up in Arms" was released. Wally Gonzales, in an interview later credited Edmund "Bosyo" Fortuno of having coined the band's name though Bosyo's collaboration with the band wasn't until 1981 with Juan Dela Cruz Band's 6th Album in which he was the drummer along with Joey "Pepe" Smith.

Beep, beep (sound)
"Beep Beep" is onomatopoeia representing a noise, generally of a pair of identical tones following one after the other, often generated by a machine or device such as a car horn. It is commonly associated with the Road Runner cartoon (meep, meep) in the Looney Tunes cartoons featuring the speedy-yet-flightless bird and his constant pursuer, Wile E. Coyote. Beep, Beep is the name of a 1952 Warner Brothers cartoon in the Merrie Melodies series.
Road Runner cartoons
Chuck Jones, the creator of the Road Runner, has stated that this sound, the only way the Road Runner can harm the Coyote, was inspired by hearing a Doppler-like effect as background artist Paul Julian imitated a car horn when he could not see where he was going. Julian voiced the various recordings of the phrase used throughout the Road Runner cartoons, although on-screen he was uncredited for his work. Although commonly quoted as "meep meep", Warner Brothers, the current owner of all trademarks relating to the duo, lists "beep, beep" as the Road Runner's sound, along with "meep, meep." According to animation historian Michael Barrier, Julian's preferred spelling of the sound effect was "hmeep hmeep".

The film follows Orphan 23 'Beep Beep' as he goes about his daily routine while being filmed and monitored by Tate Institute Scientists Lance(cameraman) and Clint (research Scientist) Beep Beep is given a few items by the Scientists including a Boys Own Annual As the documentation goes on it becomes obvious that the Scientists are abusing Beep Beep. The violence and mental torture continue and escalate. Things come to a head when Beep beep's dog is killed by Clint and given back to Beep beep as meat. Beep beep becomes fixated and inspired by the Boys Own Annual and takes his revenge.

The Juan Dela Cruz Band was one of the first rock and roll bands in the Philippines. In December 1970, the band was featured in the first open field rock festival in the Philippines, the Antipolo Rock Festival. The band's popularity gained momentum in September 1971 when it backed up the production of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP). Then in December of the same year, the band garnered its crowning glory when again, for the first time in the Philippines, a rock group on its own, backed by a full symphony orchestra (the National Philharmonic) was presented in concert at the CCP.
The band originally had six members: Wally Gonzales (guitars and vocals), Rene Segueco (organ and vocals), Clifford Ho (bass and vocal), Romy Santos (wind instruments), Bobot Guerrero (drums), and Sandy Tagarro (lead vocals). Sandy Tagarro left the band before the band's first album "Up in Arms" was released. Wally Gonzales, in an interview later credited Edmund "Bosyo" Fortuno of having coined the band's name though Bosyo's collaboration with the band wasn't until 1981 with Juan Dela Cruz Band's 6th Album in which he was the drummer along with Joey "Pepe" Smith.

Volvo is introducing electric buses and they are not very noisy. In fact, they are almost silent; that's why Volvo is building in noisemakers. According to Peter Danielsson, Director Vehicle Features and Safety at Volvo Buses, a Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection System will set if there is a pedestrian around. The bus can be heard – but without being disruptive ... So the the system then honks at pedestrians and beeps at the driver ... ....

When I was pregnant with my first child, I was secretly hoping for a girl. Having grown up with two sisters, girls was all I knew. Having a girl meant being able to fall back on my own memories to guide me as a first-time mother. It was known territory. I knew how to be a girl, how to talk to girls, I knew what girls like....
