Filmed & edited by Dr. Diana Wehrell-Grabowski. Life Rolls On Foundation is a non-profit organization that exists to be a grassroots resource that provides help and is an advocate on behalf of young people whose lives have been affected by spinal cord injuries.
Life Rolls On Foundation's program called "They Will Surf Again" is an adptive surf program where people with disabilities mostly with spinal cord injuries get the chance to surf. Some have never surfed before, some surf all the time, and some have not surfed since sustaining their injury.

On Saturday July 25th, 2009 Life Rolls On/ They Will Surf Again event was held at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Approximately 120 volunteers were on hand to help 15 individuals who would venture into 2-3 foot surf. Most of the participants had never surfed a day in their lives until this day. One individual had never even been in the ocean before. Several individuals had surfed prior to their accidents. It was a beautiful day and truly an inspiration for all of us that often take life for granted. The participants you have seen in this film were truly amazing, they were so grateful to be spending the day on the beach and in the ocean. Once again, I left this event realizing that at any moment your life as it is at the present can drastically change within seconds, and without warning.
I have volunteered countless hours during my 50 years on this planet but this is by far the most rewarding volunteer experience I have ever participated in. I encourage each of you to find out when the next LRO, TWSA event is taking place on your coast and get involved in whatever capacity you are able and willing to. I want to personally thank each of the 15 LRO participants who I feel so grateful to have met.

Filmed and Edited by Dr. Diana Wehrell-Grabowski. Hands Across The Sand event took place across the entire state of Florida on February 13th, 2010. The event was a peaceful protest to raise awareness about pending Florida legislation to drill for oil in Florida's waters. Thousands of individuals young and old, and from all walks of life met at designated beach and coastal waterways. At 1:30 pm statewide participants at each location held hands to form a human chain as a sign of solidarity against the drilling of oil in Florida's waters. Cocoa Beach Surfrider Foundation was the organizer and host of the event that took place @ Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach. Three hundred individuals braved the cold and wind as they participated in a beach clean-up prior to forming the human chain along the shoreline. Thanks to all the individuals who participated in this event, and for all the volunteers involved in making the event a success. Thanks to Channel 13 and Florida Today for covering the event. The name Intermission stands for the popular and charismatic singer Lori Glori, who gives the productions a special groove. The relevant Intermission sound comes from the successful producer team Michael Eisele and Dietmar Stehle, in short DMP (Dance Music Production) - who are already wellknown, as well as his company, for successful acts like Captain Hollywood Project and Loft.The vocalist Nina, and the producers Attack II et G. Schein (of Captain Hollywood Project) also took part to Intermission.
The first single Honesty was released in 1993 and reached # 18 Israel and in Germany. The follow-up Piece Of My Heart, a very smooth and melodic track featuring Valerie Scott, did better in the charts, since it was # 11 in Israel and # 8 Germany (and stayed 12 weeks inside the top 20 in this country). Six Days, released during the summer 1994, entered the German Charts on the 11th October 1994, peaked up to # 20, and stayed in the charts during 11 weeks... In the singles's credits one could read the name "G. Grab", which stood for Gerd Grabowski (a German singer aka G.G. Anderson).
Give Peace A Chance featured once again Lori Glori. It entered the German charts on the 21st November 1994, and did a little less well, peaking to #29, and staying 12 weeks.
In 1995, the follow-up Planet Love (featuring Raquel Gomez) entered the German charts on th 31st July 1995, climbed up to rank #24 and stayed there 12 weeks. The next year, Miracle Of Love did not do that well, since it only stayed 2 weeks in the German charts (during March 1996), unable to reach better than #87.
In 1997 they released the progressive trance single Blow Your Mind, which featured DJ M.A.R.S.S and Lori Glori back on vocals. Music was composed by Dietmar Stehle and Ralf Stehle. Lyrics were written by Dietmar Stehle, Ralf Stehle, Alex R. Belcher and Lori Hölzel.
2003 : they released a remix of their hit Piece Of My Heart; this time featuring Grey & Frost. The single included 3 mixes : Grey B Frost Club Mix, Dito Remix, Andre Visior Vocal Club.
2005 : in September, Six Days was covered by a project called Hypersonic feat AM4.
2006 : Piece Of My Heart was covered by Jan Wayne. The vinyl was released on 16th October.

Injured athletes from all over the state of Florida participated in the surfing event held on Saturday, September 20th, 2008 at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Ten disabled athletes were assisted by approximately 80 volunteers as they ventured into the ocean to try surfing. Some of the individuals had surfed prior to their spinal cord injuries, amputations, etc.. others had never surfed a day in their life.
It was a beautiful day and the waves were 2-4 foot. Keep in mind that all of these athletes lay flat on the adaptive surfboards thus, a 3 foot wave can be rather intimidating and is definitely "overhead".

On Saturday July 25th, 2009 Life Rolls On/ They Will Surf Again event was held at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Approximately 120 volunteers were on hand to help 15 individuals who would venture into 2-3 foot surf. Most of the participants had never surfed a day in their lives until this day. One individual had never even been in the ocean before. Several individuals had surfed prior to their accidents. It was a beautiful day and truly an inspiration for all of us that often take life for granted. The participants you have seen in this film were truly amazing, they were so grateful to be spending the day on the beach and in the ocean. Once again, I left this event realizing that at any moment your life as it is at the present can drastically change within seconds, and without warning.
I have volunteered countless hours during my 50 years on this planet but this is by far the most rewarding volunteer experience I have ever participated in. I encourage each of you to find out when the next LRO, TWSA event is taking place on your coast and get involved in whatever capacity you are able and willing to. I want to personally thank each of the 15 LRO participants who I feel so grateful to have met.

Injured athletes from all over the state of Florida participated in the surfing event held on Saturday, September 20th, 2008 at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Ten disabled athletes were assisted by approximately 80 volunteers as they ventured into the ocean to try surfing. Some of the individuals had surfed prior to their spinal cord injuries, amputations, etc.. others had never surfed a day in their life.
It was a beautiful day and the waves were 2-4 foot. Keep in mind that all of these athletes lay flat on the adaptive surfboards thus, a 3 foot wave can be rather intimidating and is definitely "overhead".
