CASA 3000

The CASA 3000 was a proposed turboprop aircraft aimed at the regional airliner market. The project was proposed by Construcciones Aeronáuticas SA (CASA) during the early part of the 1990s.

CASA initially proposed that it would feature a fuselage based on that of the Russian Ilyushin Il-114, mated to a wing based on the Saab 2000's wing, which was being produced by CASA for Saab. CASA proposed that the fuselage of the Ilyushin Il-114 be stretched to allow for 70 passenger seats. Changes to the Il-114's fuselage design would also be made, necessary to conform to differing airworthiness regulations existing outside the Soviet Union.

After talks with Ilyushin broke down, CASA then announced the aircraft would feature a fuselage of its own design. Despite predicting a market for up to 1,000 aircraft of its class, CASA abandoned the project without any aircraft being built.

CASA C-202 Halcón

The CASA C-202 Halcón was a twin-engine transport aircraft, constructed by CASA.

The Halcón was designed for use on Spain's international air routes. It had tricycle landing gear and a heated/air-conditioned cabin which could accommodate fourteen passengers. Twenty aircraft were initially ordered, and delivered to the Spanish Air Force with the designation T.6.

Bücker Bü 131

The German Bücker Bü 131 "Jungmann" (Young man) was a 1930s basic training aircraft which was used by the Luftwaffe during World War II.

Development

After serving in the Kaiserliche Marine in World War I, Carl Bücker moved to Sweden where he became managing director of Svenska Aero AB (Not to be confused with Svenska Aeroplan AB, SAAB). He later returned to Germany with Anders J Andersson, a young designer from SAAB. Bücker Flugzeugbau GmbH was founded in Berlin-Johannisthal, in 1932, with the first aircraft to see production being the Bü 131 Jungmann.

Bücker Flugzeugbau's first production type, the Bü 131A was the last biplane built in Germany. It had two open cockpits in tandem and fixed landing gear. The fuselage was steel tube, covered in fabric and metal, the wings wood and fabric. It first flew on the 80 hp (60 kW) Hirth HM60R.

In 1936, it was followed by the Bü 131B, with a 105 hp (78 kW) Hirth 504A-2.

Most wartime production for the Luftwaffe was by Aero in Prague.

Family Π

Family Π is a group of New Testament manuscripts. Belonging to the Byzantine text-type, it is one of the textual families of this group. The name of the family, "Π" (pronounced in English as "pie"), is drawn from the symbol used for the Codex Petropolitanus. One of the most distinct of the Byzantine sub-groups, it is very old and the third largest. The oldest Byzantine manuscripts belong to this family.

Hermann von Soden designated this group by the symbol "K^a". According to him, its text is not purely Byzantine.

Codices and manuscripts

Soden included the following in this group of codices: Cyprius (K), Petropolitanus (Π), 72, 114, 116, 178, 265, 389, 1008, 1009, 1079, 1154, 1200, 1219, 1346, and 1398. Lake added to this group of manuscripts: 489, 537, 652, 775, 796, 904, 1478, 1500, 1546, 1561, 1781, 1816. Soden also associated Codex Alexandrinus with this group. Wisse lists about 150 witnesses of the family, but the majority of them belong to this family only in some parts of their text. The Peshitta, in the Gospels, represents this family.

Index set

In mathematics, an index set is a set whose members label (or index) members of another set.
