Tea is an aromatic beverage commonly prepared by pouring hot or boiling water over cured leaves of the Camellia sinensis, an evergreen shrub native to Asia. After water, it is the most widely consumed drink in the world. There are many different types of tea; some teas, like Darjeeling and Chinese greens, have a cooling, slightly bitter, and astringent flavour, while others have vastly different profiles that include sweet, nutty, floral or grassy notes.
Tea originated in southwestern China, where it was used as a medicinal drink. It was popularized as a recreational drink during the Chinese Tang dynasty, and tea drinking spread to other East Asian countries. Portuguese priests and merchants introduced it to the West during the 16th century. During the 17th century, drinking tea became fashionable among Britons, who started large-scale production and commercialization of the plant in India to bypass a Chinese monopoly at that time.
The phrase herbal tea usually refers to infusions of fruit or herbs made without the tea plant, such as steeps of rosehip, chamomile, or rooibos. These are also known as tisanes or herbal infusions to distinguish them from "tea" as it is commonly construed.
Trip may refer to:
Cream is a dairy product composed of the higher-butterfat layer skimmed from the top of milk before homogenization. In un-homogenized milk, the fat, which is less dense, will eventually rise to the top. In the industrial production of cream, this process is accelerated by using centrifuges called "separators". In many countries, cream is sold in several grades depending on the total butterfat content. Cream can be dried to a powder for shipment to distant markets. Cream has high levels of saturated fat.
Cream skimmed from milk may be called "sweet cream" to distinguish it from whey cream skimmed from whey, a by-product of cheese-making. Whey cream has a lower fat content and tastes more salty, tangy and "cheesy". In many countries, cream is usually sold partially fermented: sour cream, crème fraîche, and so on.
Cream has many culinary uses in both sweet and salty dishes.
Cream produced by cattle (particularly Jersey cattle) grazing on natural pasture often contains some natural carotenoid pigments derived from the plants they eat; this gives the cream a slight yellow tone, hence the name of the yellowish-white color, cream. This is also the origin of butter's yellow color. Cream from goat's milk, or from cows fed indoors on grain or grain-based pellets, is white.
Afternoon Tea is a 1910 oil painting by American artist Richard E. Miller, located in the Indianapolis Museum of Art, which is in Indianapolis, Indiana. Like many of Miller's paintings, it depicts women in a sunny scene, filled with flowers, depicted in his Impressionist style with a distinct flavor of Japonism.
Afternoon Tea has been lauded as one of Miller's best paintings, "a confident, mature work and an absolute knockout in coloristic power." He applied vibrant colors like bright reds, greens, and purples with artistic license, driven by decorative concerns rather than objective truth. By framing the two women with a Japanese parasol, Miller created a focal point that unified the disparate colors, patterns, and textures he juxtaposed so boldly, a hallmark of his particular style of Impressionism. The parasol was a device Miller would use over and over again, enamored of its "circular shape, ribbed structure, [and] colorful surface designs." The prominent brushstrokes are also a key feature of Miller's mature works.
The fourth season of Parks and Recreation originally aired in the United States on the NBC television network, and began on September 22, 2011, and ended on May 8, 2012. The season contained 22 episodes.
As with past seasons, it focused on Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) and her staff at the parks and recreation department of the fictional Indiana town of Pawnee. However, this season featured an overarching story arc, beginning in the first episode and culminating in the finale, where Leslie ran for the city council of Pawnee.
I'm off to London this summer and really want to convert from coffee to tea. Why? Tea is cool! And apparently there are two kinds of tea times. Afternoon tea and high tea. Who knew?

I created this video for Instagram but thought I'd share it here, too :-) When I was at afternoon tea, The Drawing Room filled up with tables of friends who looked absolutely elegantly dressed for a stroll in the gardens of le château de Versailles in springtime. St. Regis Kuala Lumpur is the new kid in town and they are bringing us afternoon tea in The Drawing Room with a French twist. Both the executive chef of St. Regis KL and the pastry chef are français and it comes through in their version of high tea. Served from 3 - 5pm daily, afternoon tea is a relatively healthy affair ... with one option to choose from (sadly no 'bubbles' package) that includes 5 different teas, 4 or 5 savoury canapé-sized sandwiches, plain or cranberry scones served with homemade jam or clotted cream, and 5...

A video by Donald MacLeay of a public news event. Music by Fred Stein ( FredSteinMusic.com ) off his CD "Pizza And Ice Cream". Used with permission. At the end of the speeches is a little sightseeing trip up and down the boardwalk. Enjoy. Friday June 15, 2012. Members of the Tea Party from all over NJ traveled to Asbury Park NJ to counter-protest a media event held by the Sierra Club in support of Global Wind Day. Speeches by Steve Lonegan, NJ Assemblyman Michael Carroll, Rich Miner, and Bill Heller of Union Beach NJ. Hosted by Americans For Prosperity, the truth was heard about the ridiculous size, cost, and degradation of the surrounding community caused by these industrial machines. And yet, the government of NJ, in contradiction of the well-being of its citizens, is promoting the fi...
