The Basilica of Our Lady of Licheń [ˈlixɛɲ] is a Roman Catholic church located in the village of Licheń Stary near Konin in the Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland. It was designed by Barbara Bielecka and built between 1994 and 2004. The construction was funded by pilgrims' donations.[1] With a tower measuring 141.5 meters in height, it is one of the tallest and largest churches in the world.
The history of the foundation of the church dates back to 1813, when Tomasz Kłossowski a Polish soldier fighting under Napoleon near Leipzig was seriously wounded. He invoked Our Lady, begging her not to let him die in a foreign land. According to legend, she appeared to him wearing a golden crown, a dark red gown, with a golden mantle, and holding a white eagle in her right hand. She comforted the soldier and promised he would recover and return to Poland.[2] Tomasz was instructed him to have an image of her made, and to place the image in a public place so that My people will pray before this image and shall draw many graces at My hands in the hardest times of trial.[3]
With the nave 120 meters long and 77 meters wide, with a central dome 98 meters high, and with a tower 141.5 metres tall, it is Poland's largest church and one of the largest churches in the world. The church is dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows, Queen of Poland whose icon, perhaps dating back to the 18th century, is displayed in the basilica's main altar. It is one of Poland's principal pilgrimage sites.[4]
Pope John Paul II blessed the Basilica in 1999.[5]

Our Lady of Manaoag
Our Lady of Manaoag *Shrine of Our Lady of Manaoag Official Website (formal title: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of Manaoag; Spanish: Nuestra Señora del Santísimo Rosario de Manaoag) is a Roman Catholic title of the Blessed Virgin Mary venerated in Manaoag, Pangasinan, the Philippines.
The ivory image which bears its title dates from the 16th century and is presently enshrined within the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of Manaoag. The shrine is a major pilgrimage site in the country and is administered by the Order of Preachers within the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan.
Pope Pius XI granted a Canonical Coronation to the image on 21 April 1926, while Pope Benedict XVI raised her sanctuary in equal indulgences to Basilica of Saint Mary Major on 21 June 2011. Under this Marian title, the Blessed Virgin Mary is invoked as patroness of the sick, helpless and needy, is celebrated on two feast days: the third Wednesday after Easter and first Sunday of October.

The Basilica of Our Lady of Licheń [ˈlixɛɲ] is a Roman Catholic church located in the village of Licheń Stary near Konin in the Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland. It was designed by Barbara Bielecka and built between 1994 and 2004. The construction was funded by pilgrims' donations.[1] With a tower measuring 141.5 meters in height, it is one of the tallest and largest churches in the world.
The history of the foundation of the church dates back to 1813, when Tomasz Kłossowski a Polish soldier fighting under Napoleon near Leipzig was seriously wounded. He invoked Our Lady, begging her not to let him die in a foreign land. According to legend, she appeared to him wearing a golden crown, a dark red gown, with a golden mantle, and holding a white eagle in her right hand. She comforted the soldier and promised he would recover and return to Poland.[2] Tomasz was instructed him to have an image of her made, and to place the image in a public place so that My people will pray before this image and shall draw many graces at My hands in the hardest times of trial.[3]
With the nave 120 meters long and 77 meters wide, with a central dome 98 meters high, and with a tower 141.5 metres tall, it is Poland's largest church and one of the largest churches in the world. The church is dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows, Queen of Poland whose icon, perhaps dating back to the 18th century, is displayed in the basilica's main altar. It is one of Poland's principal pilgrimage sites.[4]
Pope John Paul II blessed the Basilica in 1999.[5]

Jaro Festival Mass Parade 2015 - The Jaro festivity is a 2-week celebration closing on the town fiesta on the 2nd of February. The Fiesta is held honoring the town’s patron saint, Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria (Our Lady of the Candles). Just like a typical fiesta, the town prepares a delicious meal for their friends and relatives. Several of the activities in this festivity include activities from various association groups, such as the search for the Mutya ng Jaro and also the children's elegant ball parade. There's also a grand parade of young ladies from prominent Jaro families of Ilonggo lineage. The celebration ends with the crowning of the fiesta queen, the Queen of Jaro. The festivity also features, multi-million cock derby that attracts cockfighting enthusiasts from all-over the country.

The Basilica of Our Lady of Peace (French: Basilique Notre-Dame de la Paix) is a Catholic minor basilica dedicated to Our Lady of Peace in Yamoussoukro, the administrative capital of Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast). The basilica was constructed between 1985 and 1989.
Guinness World Records lists it as the largest "church" in the world, having surpassed the previous record holder, St. Peter's Basilica, upon completion. It has an area of 30,000 square metres (322,917 sq ft) and is 158 m (518 ft) high. It can accommodate 18,000 worshipper. Less than a third of Côte d'Ivoire's population are Christian, and most services conducted at the basilica are attended by only a few hundred people.
In a country known best for civil war and political unrest, the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace emerges tranquilly from the barren landscape surrounding the church on all sides. Despite its impressive stature, it remains shrouded in controversy from comparison and stands as a symbol of the problems facing the Ivory Coast.

A person who does not trust in my goodness has the following thoughts: 'If I make any attempts at restraining the flesh by fasting or struggling in vigil, I will not be able either to persevere or to keep myself from vices, for God does not help me' - that person deserves to fall.
Hence, a person who wants to be a spiritual fighter trusts in me and is confident that he will be able to achieve it with the aid of my grace. So he should have the intention of doing good and avoiding evil and of getting up again whenever he falls. He should say this prayer: 'Lord God Almighty, you who guide all souls toward the good, I am a sinner who has strayed far away from you through my own wrongdoing. I thank you for leading me back to the right path, and I ask you, gracious Jesus, who hung on the cross in blood and sorrow, to have mercy on me. I entreat you by your five wounds and by the pain that passed from your shattered veins to your heart. Deign to keep me safe today, lest I fall into sin. Devotees praying at Puthanpalli, Basilica of Our Lady of Dolours at Thrissur, during the day of annual feast. Every year thousands of pilgrims gather ere for Oottuthirunal, the the feast. The Church of the Most Holy Trinity was dedicated on October 12, 2007, by Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, then Secretary of State of the Vatican and legate of Benedict XVI for the conclusion of the 90th Anniversary of the Apparitions of Our Lady to the three little shepherds.
The Congregation for Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments has granted to this temple the title of basilica by the Decree of June 19, 2012, which highlights its pastoral importance and, above all, its special bond of communion with the Holy Father – a particularly important dimension of the message of Fatima – and at the same time the affection of the Pope towards Fatima.
The Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity is circular, with 125 meters in diameter and without interior supports; its only support comes from two beams of 182,5 meters in length, with a free span of 80 meters and a maximum height of 21,15 meters. The building is 18 meters high. The whole building is white and has 8,633 seats. The interior can be divided into two sectors by means of a moveable wall of 2 meters high. The presbytery can hold 100 concelebrants.
The altar, the lectern, the chairs of presidency and the floor of the presbytery are made out of limestone branco do mar; the other floor is covered, in the interior of the church, with beige ataíja stone; the floor in other spaces of the church is covered with bluish ataíja.

This Gothic style church is having a plinth area of about 25000 sq.ft. with 15 Altars. The bells producing seven musical sounds and the murals are other features of the church. Bible Tower, constructed in the year 2000 is an attraction with a lot of paintings.
