The town of Arcadia California has gained the nickname "the Chinese Beverly Hills". Peggy Fong Chen, who makes a living selling high priced real estate in Arcadia, says that almost all of her buyers are from mainland China. She also pointed out that almost all of her clients pay for their multi million dollar homes in cash. Many Chinese billionaires buy these homes along with exotic cars for their children who are often sent to American colleges. Looking for Love: Chinese female millionaires look for dates For downloads and more information: http://www.journeyman.tv/?lid=64387 Despite China's massive gender gap, successful women in China struggle to get a date. A complex cocktail of cultural hangups has left a generation of men and women without partners and it's getting worse. "Marrying the right man is our biggest dream," one young Chinese girl's song goes. But while the cars and houses are coming easily to China's successful women, marrying their dream man isn't. While most "nouveau riche" happily spend their new money on shit the old money has already deemed acceptable, China's spoiled young princelings aren't content with horses, sports cars, and insanely tacky watches alone. In tribute to the intrepid bootleggers who've propped up their country's market economy, China's rich have taken arguably the worst bird of all time, the pigeon, and slapped a Louis Vuitton logo on it. Racing pigeons are the new thoroughbreds here, with birds auctioned for hundreds of thousands of dollars apiece and races netting millions for the championship flock. Which sucks for the old timers, whose balcony-bred birds don't stand a chance against these million-dollar superflocks. And which just sucks in general because, well, pigeons. Fucking pigeons. The Youngest Millionaire - Where Did A Million Chinese Millionaires Come From 2015 Nearly half of Chinese millionaires plan to move out of the country in the next five years—a flight that could add to worries over the country's economy, as more money moves offshore rather than being invested or spent in China. According to a study from Barclays and Ledbury Research, which polled more than 2,000 people worth $1.5 million or more from 17 countries, 47 percent of Chinese millionaires plan to emigrate, while another 20 percent said they don't know if they will move. That's the highest rate of planned millionaire flight in the world, topping Qatar at 36 percent and Latin America at 34 percent. The study supports a finding from Hurun Report earlier this year, which said 64 percent of Chinese mil...
