Rock City (duo)

Rock City, also known as R. City and Planet VI, is an American musical duo from Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, formed in 2003. The duo, composed of brothers Theron and Timothy Thomas, who use the stage names, A.I. and Uptown AP respectively, are also a songwriting and record production team. The Thomas brothers also write and produce for other artists, including Jamaican artiste, Sean Kingston ("Take You There"), American singer, Miley Cyrus ("We Can't Stop"), Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj ("Only") and Barbadian popstar Rihanna ("Pour It Up").

The duo has also contributed to numerous Grammy-nominated albums including Rihanna's Unapologetic (which won Best Urban Contemporary Album), Jennifer Hudson's self-titled album (which won Best R&B Album), and Ariana Grande's My Everything (which was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album).

Rock City also releases original music, having released several mixtapes since 2008. The group had previously been signed to Geffen Records and KonLive, where they released a series of mixtapes with the primary title, PTFAO (Put the F*ckin' Album Out)—a reference to the fact that their debut album Wake the Neighbors, had not been given a release date. In 2011, the duo was released from their contract with KonLive, and founded Rebelution Records, on which they intended to release their debut album. A new album, What Dreams Are Made Of, is due to be released in 2015, after being signed to Kemosabe Records and RCA Records by Dr. Luke.

Lizzie McGuire

Lizzie McGuire is an American live-action teen sitcom, which features an animated version of the title character performing soliloquy. The animated sequences were interspersed with the show's live-action sequences. It premiered on the Disney Channel on January 12, 2001 following the premiere of Zenon: The Zequel and ended February 14, 2004. A total of 65 episodes were produced and aired. Its target demographic was preteens and adolescents.

The series won Favorite TV Show at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in 2002 and 2003.

Production

The series was created by Terri Minsky. The show's working title was What's Lizzie Thinking? before being changed to Lizzie McGuire. The show's producer Stan Rogow says the visual look of the show was partly inspired by Run Lola Run. Though production wrapped in June 2002, the show did not end its original run on Disney Channel until 2004. In 2014 Hilary Duff announced that she would be open to a "Lizzie McGuire" reunion.

The Lizzie McGuire Movie is a 2003 American teen comedy film which was released by Walt Disney Pictures on May 2, 2003. The film serves as the finale of the television series Lizzie McGuire. It was the first theatrical film based on a Disney Channel original series. The film stars Hilary Duff, Adam Lamberg, Robert Carradine, Hallie Todd and Jake Thomas, and narrates Lizzie's graduation trip to Rome. At its release the film peaked at number two in the domestic box office, behind X2: X-Men United.The Lizzie McGuire Movie was released on August 12, 2003 on VHS and DVD.

Plot

The film begins as Lizzie McGuire (Hilary Duff) prepares for her junior-high graduation with her best friend, David "Gordo" Gordon (Adam Lamberg). During the ceremony, Lizzie trips onstage and accidentally brings the curtain down on her fellow graduates; this causes her to be teased by her ex-best friend, Kate Sanders (Ashlie Brillault), and her younger brother Matt (Jake Thomas). After graduation, Lizzie and her class embark on a trip to Rome chaperoned by their future high school principal, Angela Ungermeyer (Alex Borstein). To their dismay, Lizzie and Kate are assigned to the same hotel room.

Hilary Duff

Hilary Erhard Duff (born September 28, 1987) is an American actress and singer. Duff began her acting career at a young age, and quickly became labeled a teen idol as the starring titular character in the television series Lizzie McGuire (2001–04). The series proved to be a hit, leading to a film adaptation of the series to be released. Duff began working on numerous projects with the Disney channel, including the film Cadet Kelly (2002). She later began work on an album, releasing the Christmas themed Santa Claus Lane (2002) through Walt Disney Records. Upon signing with Hollywood Records, Duff began working on her second studio album, Metamorphosis (2003). The album achieved critical and commercial success, topping the Billboard 200 and selling over three million copies in the United States alone. The album also found success in both Canada and Japan. Duff's success in both acting and music led to her becoming a household name, with merchandise such as dolls, clothing, and fragrances being released.

Dream

Dreams are successions of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that occur usually involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not definitively understood, though they have been a topic of scientific speculation, as well as a subject of philosophical and religious interest, throughout recorded history. The scientific study of dreams is called oneirology.

Dreams mainly occur in the rapid-eye movement (REM) stage of sleep—when brain activity is high and resembles that of being awake. REM sleep is revealed by continuous movements of the eyes during sleep. At times, dreams may occur during other stages of sleep. However, these dreams tend to be much less vivid or memorable.

The length of a dream can vary; they may last for a few seconds, or approximately 20–30 minutes. People are more likely to remember the dream if they are awakened during the REM phase. The average person has three to five dreams per night, and some may have up to seven; however, most dreams are immediately or quickly forgotten. Dreams tend to last longer as the night progresses. During a full eight-hour night sleep, most dreams occur in the typical two hours of REM.
