Johnny and Johnnie refer to:
Peter Tosh, OM (born Winston Hubert McIntosh; 19 October 1944 – 11 September 1987) was a Jamaican reggae musician. Along with Bob Marley and Bunny Wailer he was one of the core members of the band The Wailers (1963–1974), after which he established himself as a successful solo artist and a promoter of Rastafari. He was murdered in 1987 during a home invasion.
Tosh was born in Westmoreland Jamaica, the nation's westernmost parish. When McIntosh was fifteen, his aunt died and he moved to Trench Town in Kingston, Jamaica. He first picked up a guitar by watching a man in the country play a song that captivated him. He watched the man play the same song for half a day, memorizing everything his fingers were doing. He then picked up the guitar and played the song back to the man. The man then asked McIntosh who had taught him to play; McIntosh told him that he had. During the early 1960s Tosh met Robert Nesta Marley (Bob Marley) and Neville O'Reilly Livingston (Bunny Wailer) and went to vocal teacher Joe Higgs, who gave out free vocal lessons to young people, in hopes to form a new band. He then changed his name to become Peter Tosh and the trio started singing together in 1962. Higgs taught the trio to harmonize and while developing their music, they would often play on the street corners of Trenchtown.
Johnny Was is an Irish/British gangster movie directed by Mark Hammond, written by Brendan Foley, and made in 2005 by Ben Katz Productions, Borderline Productions and Nordisk Film. It was released in the UK in 2006 by Sony Pictures and in the US by First Look Studios.
Johnny Doyle escapes a violent past as a Provisional IRA volunteer in Ireland to lie low in London, until his former mentor Flynn breaks out of Brixton Prison, members of a dissident republican group they are hellbent on derailing the Irish peace process with a few well-placed bombs. Unable to escape Brixton, they find themselves trapped together in Johnny's anything-but-safe safe house, sandwiched between a friendly Rastafarian reggae pirate radio station upstairs and a local Yardie, heroin-dealing gangster Julius, downstairs.
As the charismatic Flynn finds some common criminal ground with the Yardies, Johnny fights to realize a peace process of his own but makes the mistake of falling for Julius's girlfriend Rita, sparking an all-out war.

The Mystery Trend were one of the original San Francisco bay area pyschedelic garage groups, formed in 1965. Sadly they are for the most part forgotten by most people."Johnny Was A Good Boy" is most certainly an impressive debut recording that rivals the best acts of their era.
I WASN'T SURE ABOUT PUTTING THIS SONG ON HERE BUT SINCE THE CRAIGSLIST GUY, WHO GAGGED AND BOUND THESE WOMEN WITH ONE BEING SHOT TO DEATH RECENTLY WAS FRONT PAGE NEWS , I THOUGHT I'D SHOW THAT LIFE WASN'T ALL THAT DIFFERENT OVER 40 YRS AGO. THERE WAS JUST LESS OF IT GOING ON BACK THEN.
From Bad Company's second album, Straight Shooter (1975). Johnny was a schoolboy when he heard his first Beatle song, 'Love me do,' I think it was And from there it didn't take him long. Got himself a guitar, used to play every night, Now he's in a rock 'n' roll outfit, And everything's all right, don't you know? Johnny told his mama, hey, 'Mama, I'm goin' away I'm gonna hit the big time, Gonna be a big star someday" Yeah. Mama came to the door with a teardrop in her eye. Johnny said, "Don't cry, mama, smile and wave goodbye." Don't you know, yeah yeah, Don't you know that you are a shooting star, Don't you know, don't you know Don't you know that you are a shooting star, And all the world will love you just as long, As long as you are. Johnny made a record, Went straight up ...

Also referred to as the Stepping Razor, Peter Tosh was a core member of the reggae trio Wailers. He later went on to have a successful solo music career and was very influential in the Rastafari movement. This is one of his biggest international hits, "Johnny Be Good".

A Texas Tale is kind of a blue collar spy movie with characters that are based on the stereotypical way people of the world imagine Texans. The story is of the personal life of Johnny Roads a newly famous good olé boy who rescued a young boy from the line of fire in a hideous assignation of a DEA informant. The story starts off with him and his best friend Daniel Days having a falling out. The story skips to a month later as they begin to put their differences in the past. Through their conversation of catching up on all the events that have happened to each of them since they last spoke fills us in on the back story. At the same time the present is running its course. Through out the story you are introduced to Johnny's and Daniel's friendship, life, and history. You find that Johnny has ...
Through the night 'til the morning
It all came to me
At the edge of the desert
Where the sand hits the sea
Out here on the peer
I'm out here on a search
Where the fishermen reel and the pelicans perch
I'm out on here on a trip
Here on a whim
Into what's going on through the dawn
Out here on the peer
I'm out here to win
Where the rollercoasters roll
And the Ferris wheels spin
The good people
living your life on a whim
Your eyes ain't bright
If your mind is dim
From the east to the west
Can't you feel it in the air
They're gonna save you
So you better, you better save them
The good people
