PlayStation Home: Goodbye Home!

Leave a like if you enjoyed the video. It would mean a lot! Well hey! How's it going today? Hope everything's going smooth. This is a long video but it's well worth it. Well, although this video was recorded about a month ago, it was a sad day for me personally as I made the decision to play PlayStation Home for the last time. In this video, I show you the the Home Square which the European version of Home was kind enough to give to Americans. Then I show you 3 special personal spaces that Home devs gave us to enjoy the final days of Home. They are all very nice spaces. I decided to move on to the PS4 which ultimately ended up being a great choice because I love the console. It was just real hard to say goodbye to Home which to me was probably the most unique social gaming platform ever created. Games, communication, unpredictable fun, all in one place. It was a blast. We're all going to miss Home and all of the fun things we did together on there. From the always fun dances to the fun games, Home was an incredible experience. The good news is that Atom Republic, a popular developer in Home that created items like the sound packs, go karts, lightspeeder motorcycles and the park public space is currently working on their own virtual world for us to check out. I've mentioned it several times and they're getting closer and closer to releasing it. It's called Atom Universe. It's an amusement park kinda world filled with games and social features like in Home. What makes this so unique is that well, it's an amusement park so you know you'll be plenty busy exploring this world. Plus, they're working on other spaces or "planets" for the full release which could be an exotic planet, possibly like a rain forest or a beach or a fantasy space which could include dragons and castles and such just to name a few. So, we DO have somewhere else to go after Home and it's made by guys who've been in Home so they know what we want. Atom Universe will be available on PS4 and PC. There's also a new world, also coming out for the PC and PS4 called Project Nebula, from Kovok, who also sold items in Home. It looks epic. So, we have awesome alternatives to Home. So, if you don't have a PS4, then I'd recommend signing up for IGN's newsletter because they always offer cheap PS4 bundles and such. Or you can play on PC. As for Home, it was a blast and it breaks my heart as well as a lot of others' that's it's gone but Home had a heck of a run. Nearly a decade it was online, can you believe that? About 7 years. 3 off of a whole decade. PlayStation Home, thank you for all of the memories and we're all going to miss you big time. It's been real Home.
