Canada (ⁱ/ˈkænədə/; French: [ka.na.da]) is a country in the northern part of North America. Its ten provinces and three territories extend from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean, covering 9.98 million square kilometres (3.85 million square miles), making it the world's second-largest country by total area and the fourth-largest country by land area. Canada's border with the United States is the world's longest land border. Canada is sparsely populated, the majority of its land territory being dominated by forest and tundra and the Rocky Mountains; about four-fifths of the country's population of 35 million people live near the southern border. The majority of Canada has a cold or severely cold winter climate, but southerly areas are warm in summer.

The land now called Canada has been inhabited for millennia by various Aboriginal peoples. Beginning in the 15th century, British and French colonies were established on the Atlantic coast, with the first establishment of a region called "Canada" occurring in 1537. As a consequence of various conflicts, the United Kingdom gained and lost territories within British North America until left, in the late 18th century, with what mostly geographically comprises Canada today. Pursuant to the British North America Act, on July 1, 1867, the colonies of Canada, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia joined to form the autonomous federal Dominion of Canada. This began an accretion of provinces and territories to the self-governing Dominion to the present ten provinces and three territories forming modern Canada. In 1931, Canada achieved near total independence from the United Kingdom with the Statute of Westminster 1931, and full sovereignty was attained when the Canada Act 1982 removed the last remaining ties of legal dependence on the British parliament.

A post-office box or post office box (commonly referred to as a PO box or a postal box) is a uniquely addressable lockable box located on the premises of a post office station.

In many regions, particularly in Africa and the Middle East, there is no 'door to door' delivery of mail. For example, should one post mail to a street address in Namibia, it will be returned to sender as undeliverable. Consequently, renting a PO box has traditionally been the only way to receive mail in such countries, although some, like Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon, do have mail home delivery.

Generally, post office boxes are rented from the post office either by individuals or by businesses on a basis ranging from monthly to annual, and the cost of rent varies depending on the box size. Central business district (CBD) PO boxes are usually more expensive than rural PO boxes.

Mick & Angelo's 7lb Man vs Food Italian Challenge ($60): There are many different Italian food items included with this challenge, all served separately on a massive tray. The meal includes lasagna, spaghetti, meatballs, chicken parmigiana, manicotti, sausage, and their "soup of the day." There is also a small loaf of garlic bread included and you must finish a red velvet cupcake for dessert. (2015 Eastern Tour – Day #54 / Challenge #53) Hey everybody! Day #54 of my 2015 Eastern USA & Canada Tour and for this food challenge I'm at Law & Orders in Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada near Ottawa. I'll be taking on their delicious Rhippo Burger Challenge which is basically two huge burgers along with a 1 pound side of poutine. I did this challenge alongside my friend Andrew McCallum who is from the area and has won challenges in a few different countries. Law & Orders' Rhippo Burger Challenge ($60): Law & Orders serves a Rhippo Burger which has over 1 full pound of meat and toppings. Challengers must finish 2 of those burgers along with a 1 pound side of poutine. There is a 20 minute time limit to finish. Winners receive the entire meal free along with a t-shirt and their name and photo gets posted up on the Wall Of Fame. NOTE: A few weeks/months after we took the challenge, Law & Orders suffered an accidental explosion which destroyed the entire restaurant and area around it. Luckily nobody was there when it happened, and nobody got injured or hurt. Because of that though, the restaurant is closed and the challenge is unavailable. I am not sure whether they are rebuilding or not. Thank you to my friend Andrew for trying the challenge with me!! It was great to finally meet him and his family and eat with him!! (2015 Eastern Tour – Day #55 / Challenge #54) Hey everybody! Day #55 of my 2015 Eastern USA & Canada Tour and for this food challenge I'm at D&S; Southern Comfort BBQ in Carlsbad Springs, Ontario, Canada near Ottawa. I'll be taking on their delicious Determinator Burger Challenge which features a very tall stacked burger that uses grilled cheese sandwiches for the buns. I even made the challenge a bit harder by getting poutine instead of just plain french fries. D&S; Southern Comfort’s Determinator Burger Challenge ($45): There are three big 1/2 pound burger patties, each topped with cheese, smoked bbq brisket, and an onion ring. They are stacked and layered between 4 huge grilled cheese sandwiches which serve as the buns and hold everything together. The challenge includes some pickles, 1 pound of french fries, and 1 pound of coleslaw. I went above and beyond and had the restaurant turn my fries into a side of poutine instead of just plain fries. Challengers have 1 full hour to finish everything. Winners receive their meal free, their name and photo posted on the Wall Of Fame, and a sweet t-shirt!!
