They provoke, mislead youth and call for a strike every now and then…Calling themselves as `Messiah’ of Kashmiris, the Hurriyat leaders and separatists are only raising the bogey of `Kashmir’ to remain in the limelight. Since its inception on July 31, 1993, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has been leading the separatist movement in Kashmir Valley. But today, its leaders have become a tool in the hands of Pakistan and have been raking up the Kashmir issue at both domestic and international forums. Be it Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, or Masarat Alam Bhat. Other separatist leaders like Yasin Malik and Shabir Ahmad Shah are no better. The more than two dozen conglomerate of political, social and religious organizations, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has been split several times in the past exposing the fissures within. But their goal is clear ... to bleed the economy of the state by provoking the innocent youth of the state on false promises.

Calling the neighbour a "well wisher", Hardline Hurriyat Conference leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani said that people will continue to wave Pakistan flags at its rallies in Jammu and Kashmir. "Pakistani flags have been waved (in Kashmir) and, In Sha Allah (God willing), will be waved in future as well as Pakistan is our neighbour and a well wisher," he said adding that Kashmiris did not wish ill for India. Pakistani flags have appeared at several separatist rallies in Kashmir since April 15, 2015 leading to severe criticism of the People's Democratic Party government in the state by opposition parties. Ally Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also voiced its disagreement with the PDP over the issue.

SRINAGAR: Hurriyat leader Asiya Andrabi on Friday hoisted the Pakistani flag and sang the country's national anthem with a group of women celebrating Pakistan's Independence Day in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Indian media reported that the group of Dukhtaran-e-Millat activists led by Andrabi had gathered in Bachpora area on the outskirts of Srinagar. Video footage showed the women activists led by Andrabi singing the Pakistani national anthem as they waved the Pakistani flag.
Asiya Andrabi is the chief of Kashmir's women's separatist group Dukhtaran-e-Millat which is associated with the Hurriyat.
In March, Indian authorities filed a treason case against Andrabi for hoisting the Pakistani flag and singing its national anthem In Srinagar on Pakistan Day.
Pro-independence Kashmiri activists hoist the Pakistani flag on August 14 every year to celebrate the independence of Pakistan from British rule in 1947.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) (formed March 10, 1993)by is a political front formed as an alliance of 26 political, social and religious organizations in Kashmir. It was formed achieving the right of self-determination according to United Nations Security Council Resolution 47. "Hurriyat" in Koshur (as well as in Arabic, Urdu and Persian, from which the word is loaned) means "liberty".Abdul Hanan Baig was elected its leader in January 2010.
At the time of formation All Parties Hurriyat Conference members included Yaseen Malik's Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Sheikh Yaqoob Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Shabbir Shah's People's Democratic Front, Maulana Mohammad Abbas Ansari of Ittihadul Muslimeen, Shakeel Bakshi's Islamic Students League, Muslim Conference led Abdul Ghani Bhat. Abdul Hanan Baig the Chairman of the J & K Awami Action Committee played an important role in forming the Conference. Current members include:
However,Hurriyat Conference is led by Basit Bhat. Hurriyat Conference got split after the 2002 Assembly elections when some of its constituents participated in the Assembly elections violating the hurriyat constitution.From then there are two factions of Hurriyat conferences one led by the most popular resistense leader of Kashmir Syed Ali Shah Geelani and the other by Mirwaiz Umer Farooq,son of late Molvi Farooq who was assassinated in early ninetees.

Hurriyat leader Asiya Andrabi hoists Pakistani flag in Srinagar
SRINAGAR: Hurriyat leader Asiya Andrabi on Friday hoisted the Pakistani flag and sang the country's national anthem with a group of women celebrating Pakistan's Independence Day in Indian Occupied Kashmir. Indian media reported that the group of Dukhtaran-e-Millat activists led by Andrabi had gathered in Bachpora area on the outskirts of Srinagar. Video footage showed the women activists led by Andrabi singing the Pakistani national anthem as they waved the Pakistani flag. Asiya Andrabi is the chief of Kashmir's women's separatist group Dukhtaran-e-Millat which is associated with the Hurriyat. Since its inception on July 31, 1993, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has been leading the separatist movement in Kashmir Valley. But today, its leaders have become a tool in the hands of Pakistan and have been raking up the Kashmir issue at both domestic and international forums. Calling the neighbour a "well wisher", Hardline Hurriyat Conference leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani said that people will continue to wave Pakistan flags at its rallies in Jammu and Kashmir. "Pakistani flags have been waved (in Kashmir) and, In Sha Allah (God willing), will be waved in future as well as Pakistan is our neighbour and a well wisher," he said adding that Kashmiris did not wish ill for India. Pakistani flags have appeared at several separatist rallies in Kashmir since April 15, 2015 leading to severe criticism of the People's Democratic Party government in the state by opposition parties. Ally Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also voiced its disagreement with the PDP over the issue.

Archaeologists are puzzling over what kind of business the second shop did ... tomb of an adult, complete with funerary vases ... Pompeii and nearby Herculaneum were ancient Roman towns....
