Già dal tempo del fascismo s'è studiato a scuola l'inno che tutti in Trentino hanno sentito almeno una volta, intitolato "Inno al Trentino".
La storia ufficiale narra che il testo venne scritto dalla vedova di Cesare Battisti, Ernesta Bittanti, e musicato poi da Guglielmo Bussoli nel 1915.
Ma questa canzone è davvero frutto dell'estro della vedova Battisti o è una sorta di clamoroso plagio? Le sue origini potrebbero avere ben altra ispirazione, un brano popolare esistente nel Tirolo Tirolo Meridionale / Welschtirol.
Nell'antologia di don Livio Rosa, profugo a Mühlhöffen in Boemia il 25 luglio 1915 e futuro prete trentino, si trova tra altri scritti L'Inno al Tirolo, moltissimo simile alla versione di Bittanti.
Il testo ufficiale descrive con forti cenni nazionalisti un'italianità della popolazione trentina (su cui il fascismo ha trovato terreno fertile) che ha negli anni acceso polemiche, tanto che la strofa "italico cuore, italiaca mente, italica lingua qui parla la gente" spesso viene omessa dai cori di montagna.
La scoperta dell'antologia di don Livio Rosa svela il testo originale di una poesia che esisteva in Trentino nel secolo XIX, poi modificata da Ernesta Bittanti e popolarizata durante il fascismo.
lo squillo di tromba d'inizio dell'Inno al Trentino è del tutto identico allo squillo di tromba nel trio dell'inno dei Tiroler Kaiserjäger. Una coincidenza?
Tutto questo fa capire anche la storia dimenticata dei Kaiserjäger Trentini e la cancellazione delle tradizioni tirolesi dell'antico Tirolo Meridionale.

Trentino
Trentino is an autonomous province of Italy in the country's far north. Trentino is, along with South Tyrol, one of the two provinces making up the region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, which is designated an autonomous region under the constitution. The province is divided into 178 comuni (municipalities). Its capital is the town of Trento, historically known in English as Trent. The province covers an area of more than 6,000 km2 (2,300 sq mi), with a total population of about 0.5 million. Etymology
The province is generally known as Trentino. The name derives from Trento, the capital city of the province, which was also known historically as Trent in English. Originally, the term was used by the local population only to refer to the city and its immediate surroundings. Under former Austrian rule, which started in the XIX century (previously Trentino was ruled by the local bishop), the common German name for the region was Südtirol, meaning South Tyrol with reference to its geographic position as the Southern part of Tyrol, Welschtirol or Welschsüdtirol, meaning Italian Tyrol or Italian South Tyrol.

LA VERSIONE ORIGINALE DELL'INNO, CAMBIATA DA ERNESTA BITTANTI BATTISTI. http://www.recuperanti.it/tonina_inno_65.php (leggi il testo) Già dal tempo del fascismo s'è studiato a scuola l'inno che tutti in Trentino hanno sentito almeno una volta, intitolato "Inno al Trentino". La storia ufficiale narra che il testo venne scritto dalla vedova di Cesare Battisti, Ernesta Bittanti, e musicato poi da Guglielmo Bussoli nel 1915. Ma questa canzone è davvero frutto dell'estro della vedova Battisti o è una sorta di clamoroso plagio? Le sue origini potrebbero avere ben altra ispirazione, un brano popolare esistente nel Tirolo Tirolo Meridionale / Welschtirol. Già dal tempo del fascismo s'è studiato a scuola l'inno che tutti in Trentino hanno sentito almeno una volta, intitolato "Inno al Trentino".
La storia ufficiale narra che il testo venne scritto dalla vedova di Cesare Battisti, Ernesta Bittanti, e musicato poi da Guglielmo Bussoli nel 1915.
Ma questa canzone è davvero frutto dell'estro della vedova Battisti o è una sorta di clamoroso plagio? Le sue origini potrebbero avere ben altra ispirazione, un brano popolare esistente nel Tirolo Tirolo Meridionale / Welschtirol.
Nell'antologia di don Livio Rosa, profugo a Mühlhöffen in Boemia il 25 luglio 1915 e futuro prete trentino, si trova tra altri scritti L'Inno al Tirolo, moltissimo simile alla versione di Bittanti.
Il testo ufficiale descrive con forti cenni nazionalisti un'italianità della popolazione trentina (su cui il fascismo ha trovato terreno fertile) che ha negli anni acceso polemiche, tanto che la strofa "italico cuore, italiaca mente, italica lingua qui parla la gente" spesso viene omessa dai cori di montagna.
La scoperta dell'antologia di don Livio Rosa svela il testo originale di una poesia che esisteva in Trentino nel secolo XIX, poi modificata da Ernesta Bittanti e popolarizata durante il fascismo.
lo squillo di tromba d'inizio dell'Inno al Trentino è del tutto identico allo squillo di tromba nel trio dell'inno dei Tiroler Kaiserjäger. Una coincidenza?
