Khas Mahal within the Red Fort, Delhi, India.
This was the Emperor's private palace from which were witnessed animal fights only in the olden days of the Mughal Empire!), such as between lions and elephants. Such fights were organized below this place for the entertainment of royals. The place consists of three parts. The set of three rooms facing the Diwan-I Khash was called 'Tashib Khana' (chamber of telling beads) and was used for the Emperor's private worship. The three rooms behind it were known as 'Khwabgah' (Sleeping Chamber). To its south a long hall with its painted walls and ceilings and a perforated screen on the west was known either as 'Tosh Khana' (robe chamber) or 'Baithak' (Sitting room). A beautiful perforated marble screen carved with a scale of justice adorns its northern wall. The projecting tower to the east of the khas mahal is called the 'Muthamman-Burj' (Octagonal Tower) from where the Emperor appeared daily to greet the people below the fort.

The Khas-Mahal (private house) consists of three parts. The set of three rooms facing the Diwan-i-Khas is called the Tasbih-Khana ('chamber for telling beads') and was used for private worship by the emperor. The three rooms behind it are known as Khwabgah ('sleeping chamber'). To its south a long hall with its painted walls and ceiling and a perforated screen on west is known either as Tosh-Khana ('robe chamber') or Baithak ('sitting room'). There exists a beautiful marble screen at the northern end of these rooms carved with a 'Scale of Justice' suspended over a crescent surrounded with stars and clouds.

गांधीनगर व बोकारो थर्मल थाना क्षेत्र की सीमा के समीप खासमहल पुराना कांटा घर के आगे कुरपनिया-बोकारो थर्मल मुख्य मार्ग पर शनिवार सुबह लगभग दस बजे हुई एक सड़क दुर्घटना में दो युवकों की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई वहीं एक युवक गंभीर रुप से घायल हो गया। मृतक बल्ले घासी (22 वर्ष) बोकारो थर्मल निवासी किशना नायक का पुत्र था जबकि प्रदीप घासी (20 वर्ष) पेटरवार के भेलवाटांड़ का रहने वाला था। घायल ॠतिक कुमार (15 वर्ष) फ्राइडेबाजार निवासी सीसीएल कर्मी अशोक घासी का पुत्र है। घटना के बाद तीनों युवक सड़क के बांयी ओर गड्ढे में जा गिरे और पैंतालीस मिनट तक उसी अवस्था में पड़े-पड़े कराहते रहे। एक चरवाहे ने उन्हें देखा और सड़क से गुज़र रहे कई लोगों को घटना के बारे में बताया परन्तु सभी राहगीर उन्हें देखने के बावजूद वहाँ से चलते बने। बाद में उधर से गुज़र रहे एक बाइक सवार ने खासमहल कांटा घर पहुँच कर घटना के संबंध में उपस्थित लोगों को बताया। उसके बाद काफी संख्या में लोग घटनास्थल पर पहुँचे। गॉड इज़ वन के सन्नी नायर ने घायल प्रदीप घांसी व ॠतिक को अन्य लोगों के सहयोग से ढोरी क्षेत्रीय अस्पताल पहुँचाया जहाँ चिकित्सकों ने जांच के बाद प्रदीप को मृत घोषित कर दिया, जबकि बल्ले घांसी की मौत घटनास्थल पर ही हो गई थी। दुर्घटनाग्रस्त नई ग्लैमर मोटरसाइकिल का अगला हिस्सा पूरी तरह से क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया। घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही गांधीनगर थाना प्रभारी विपिन कुमार व बोकारो थर्मल थाना के इन्सपेक्टर नोएल कुजूर ने घटनास्थल पहुँच कर शव को अपने कब्जे में लिया। उधर घटना के बाद घटनास्थल के दोनो ओर हाईवा ट्रक व अन्य वाहनों की लम्बी कतार लग गई। लोगों का कहना था कि तेज गति से छाई लदे हाईवा ट्रकों के चलने के कारण अक्सर ऐसी दुर्घटना घट रही है।
--- कैसे घटी घटना --- घायल ॠतिक ने बताया कि बल्ले व प्रदीप रिश्ते में उसके मामा लगते हैं। पांच दिन पूर्व ही खरीदी गई अपनी नई बाइक से उन्हें छोड़ने के लिए मैं बोकारो थर्मल जा रहा था। खासमहल पुराना कांटा घर के पास पहुँचने पर मामा बल्ले ने कहा कि मोटरसाइकिल मुझे चलाने दो, जिसके बाद वह मोटरसाइकिल मुझसे लेकर खुद ड्राइव करने लगा। प्रदीप उसके पीछे और प्रदीप के पीछे मैं बैठा था। बाइक की गति काफी तेज थी तभी टर्निंग के पास सामने से तेज गति से आ रहे हाईवा ट्रक को देख बाइक असंतुलित हो गई और सड़क के बांयी ओर स्थित एक बड़े पलाश के पेड़ से काफी ज़ोर से टकरा गई जिसके बाद मैं बेहोश हो गया। जब मुझे होश आया तो मैं अस्पताल में था।
--- माँ के इलाज के लिए पैसे लेने आया था बल्ले --- फ्राइडेबाजार निवासी सीसीएल कर्मी अशोक घांसी की पत्नि सह ॠतिक की माँ सविता देवी ने बताया कि बल्ले उसका ममेरा भाई था जबकि प्रदीप मौसेरा भाई। बल्ले की माँ की तबियत खराब थी जिसके इलाज के लिए आर्थिक मदद लेने हेतू वह शुक्रवार की शाम फ्राइडेबाजार पहुँचा था। कहा कि सुबह नाश्ता करने के बाद बल्ले और प्रदीप दोनो, मेरे पुत्र के साथ बोकारो थर्मल जा रहे थे।
--- घटनास्थल व अस्पताल पहुँचे कई लोग --- घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही घटनास्थल व अस्पताल में पहुँचने वाले लोगों का तांता लग गया। गॉड इज़ वन के संस्थापक उदय शंकर सिन्हा, सन्नी नायर, श्रमिक नेता तारकेश्वर महतो, टीनू सिंह, श्यामल सरकार, बिरेन्द्र सिंह, किशोरी शर्मा, जी सी मंडल, राजू मिश्रा, पप्पू साव, नवीन पाण्डेय, शेरमोहम्मद, मो एनाम सहित कई सीसीएल के अधिकारी भी पहुँचे और शोक संतप्त परिवार को ढाढ़स बंधाया।

Khas people
The Khas (खस) / Khasas or Khɒsiyas is a community of people, who were the mountain dwellers living in the southern shadow of the Himalayan range of the Indian Subcontinent from Jammu & Kashmir to Bhutan in the present day countries of Pakistan(in Gilgit Baltistan), India (in the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, and the Darjeeling in West Bengal), Nepal, and Bhutan. Khas people in modern Nepal will not identify themselves as Khas, instead referring to themselves by the ethnic or caste identity.
According to 2011 census of Nepal, about 40% of total population are Khas.
The Khasas were a warlike tribe who built three capitals over time: Taklakot in Tibet, and Sinja and Dullu in Nepal. From the 11th century, their powerful kingdom, known as the Khas Empire /Malla Empire (not related to the Malla Kingdoms of the Kathmandu Valley), grew, covering much of west Nepal, Ladakh, Kashmir and western Tibet. As the empire fell apart during the 14th century, many of the ruling families migrated throughout Nepal.

This was the Emperor's private palace from which were witnessed animal fights only in the olden days of the Mughal Empire!), such as between lions and elephants. Such fights were organized below this place for the entertainment of royals. The place consists of three parts. The set of three rooms facing the Diwan-I Khash was called 'Tashib Khana' (chamber of telling beads) and was used for the Emperor's private worship. The three rooms behind it were known as 'Khwabgah' (Sleeping Chamber). To its south a long hall with its painted walls and ceilings and a perforated screen on the west was known either as 'Tosh Khana' (robe chamber) or 'Baithak' (Sitting room). A beautiful perforated marble screen carved with a scale of justice adorns its northern wall. The projecting tower to the east of the khas mahal is called the 'Muthamman-Burj' (Octagonal Tower) from where the Emperor appeared daily to greet the people below the fort.

The Khas-Mahal (private house) consists of three parts. The set of three rooms facing the Diwan-i-Khas is called the Tasbih-Khana ('chamber for telling beads') and was used for private worship by the emperor. The three rooms behind it are known as Khwabgah ('sleeping chamber'). To its south a long hall with its painted walls and ceiling and a perforated screen on west is known either as Tosh-Khana ('robe chamber') or Baithak ('sitting room'). गांधीनगर व बोकारो थर्मल थाना क्षेत्र की सीमा के समीप खासमहल पुराना कांटा घर के आगे कुरपनिया-बोकारो थर्मल मुख्य मार्ग पर शनिवार सुबह लगभग दस बजे हुई एक सड़क दुर्घटना में दो युवकों की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई वहीं एक युवक गंभीर रुप से घायल हो गया। मृतक बल्ले घासी (22 वर्ष) बोकारो थर्मल निवासी किशना नायक का पुत्र था जबकि प्रदीप घासी (20 वर्ष) पेटरवार के भेलवाटांड़ का रहने वाला था। घायल ॠतिक कुमार (15 वर्ष) फ्राइडेबाजार निवासी सीसीएल कर्मी अशोक घासी का पुत्र है। घटना के बाद तीनों युवक सड़क के बांयी ओर गड्ढे में जा गिरे और पैंतालीस मिनट तक उसी अवस्था में पड़े-पड़े कराहते रहे। एक चरवाहे ने उन्हें देखा और सड़क से गुज़र रहे कई लोगों को घटना के बारे में बताया परन्तु सभी राहगीर उन्हें देखने के बावजूद वहाँ से चलते बने। बाद में उधर से गुज़र रहे एक बाइक सवार ने खासमहल कांटा घर पहुँच कर घटना के संबंध में उपस्थित लोगों को बताया। उसके बाद काफी संख्या में लोग घटनास्थल पर पहुँचे। गॉड इज़ वन के सन्नी नायर ने घायल प्रदीप घांसी व ॠतिक को अन्य लोगों के सहयोग से ढोरी क्षेत्रीय अस्पताल पहुँचाया जहाँ चिकित्सकों ने जांच के बाद प्रदीप को मृत घोषित कर दिया, जबकि बल्ले घांसी की मौत घटनास्थल पर ही हो गई थी। दुर्घटनाग्रस्त नई ग्लैमर मोटरसाइकिल का अगला हिस्सा पूरी तरह से क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया। घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही गांधीनगर थाना प्रभारी विपिन कुमार व बोकारो थर्मल थाना के इन्सपेक्टर नोएल कुजूर ने घटनास्थल पहुँच कर शव को अपने कब्जे में लिया। उधर घटना के बाद घटनास्थल के दोनो ओर हाईवा ट्रक व अन्य वाहनों की लम्बी कतार लग गई। लोगों का कहना था कि तेज गति से छाई लदे हाईवा ट्रकों के चलने के कारण अक्सर ऐसी दुर्घटना घट रही है।
--- कैसे घटी घटना --- घायल ॠतिक ने बताया कि बल्ले व प्रदीप रिश्ते में उसके मामा लगते हैं। पांच दिन पूर्व ही खरीदी गई अपनी नई बाइक से उन्हें छोड़ने के लिए मैं बोकारो थर्मल जा रहा था। खासमहल पुराना कांटा घर के पास पहुँचने पर मामा बल्ले ने कहा कि मोटरसाइकिल मुझे चलाने दो, जिसके बाद वह मोटरसाइकिल मुझसे लेकर खुद ड्राइव करने लगा। प्रदीप उसके पीछे और प्रदीप के पीछे मैं बैठा था। बाइक की गति काफी तेज थी तभी टर्निंग के पास सामने से तेज गति से आ रहे हाईवा ट्रक को देख बाइक असंतुलित हो गई और सड़क के बांयी ओर स्थित एक बड़े पलाश के पेड़ से काफी ज़ोर से टकरा गई जिसके बाद मैं बेहोश हो गया। जब मुझे होश आया तो मैं अस्पताल में था।
--- माँ के इलाज के लिए पैसे लेने आया था बल्ले --- फ्राइडेबाजार निवासी सीसीएल कर्मी अशोक घांसी की पत्नि सह ॠतिक की माँ सविता देवी ने बताया कि बल्ले उसका ममेरा भाई था जबकि प्रदीप मौसेरा भाई। बल्ले की माँ की तबियत खराब थी जिसके इलाज के लिए आर्थिक मदद लेने हेतू वह शुक्रवार की शाम फ्राइडेबाजार पहुँचा था। कहा कि सुबह नाश्ता करने के बाद बल्ले और प्रदीप दोनो, मेरे पुत्र के साथ बोकारो थर्मल जा रहे थे।
