Percy's Progress is a 1974 British comedy film directed by Ralph Thomas. It was written by Sid Colin, Harry H. Corbett and Ian Le Frenais. It was released in the United States under the title It's Not the Size That Counts. The US version of the film includes several additional scenes shot by the American distributor, these include an opening penis transplant operation scene [1], and a scene in which a dwarf is seen jumping out of a woman’s bed leaving her to say the film's American title ‘Its Not the Size That Counts’[2]. The dwarf in question was Luis De Jesus, the star of the infamous Blood Sucking Freaks.

Harry H. Corbett's character was closely modelled on British Prime Minister Harold Wilson down to using well-known Wilson phrases such as "thirteen years of Tory misrule" and speaking with a distinct Yorkshire accent.

The film is a sequel to Percy. It has yet to be released on DVD.

A chemical in the water supply makes all men impotent. Percy, the man with the world's first penis transplant, is not affected as he doesn't drink water: he only drinks champagne.

Adrienne Posta (born Adrienne Poster, 4 March 1949) is an English film and television actress and singer, prominent during the 1960s and 1970s. She adopted the surname Posta in 1966. She recorded a number of singles. She is now semi-retired and works as a teacher in the Midlands and at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.

Posta is an honorary patron of The Music Hall Guild of Great Britain and America.

Her first recordings were as Adrienne Poster.

Judith Amanda "Judy" Geeson (born 10 September 1948) is an English actor.

Geeson was born in Arundel, Sussex, England on 10 September 1948. She came from a middle class family; her father edited the National Coal Board magazine. Her sister, Sally Geeson, is also an actress and is known for her roles in British television situation comedies in the 1970s. Geeson attended Corona Stage Academy, making her stage debut in 1957.

Her first major film appearance was as wayward teenager Pamela Dare in To Sir, with Love in 1967 alongside Sidney Poitier and popular singer Lulu. In the same year, she appeared in Berserk!. She became well known as a result of a regular role in the BBC early-evening soap opera, The Newcomers. She also had a major role in the popular 1970s costume drama Poldark as Caroline Penvenen Enys.

Her other notable films include Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush (1967), Prudence and the Pill, 10 Rillington Place, Doomwatch and Brannigan. In the TV series Danger UXB, she played the female lead, Susan Mount, opposite Anthony Andrews and had the lead role of Fulvia in Sci-Fi series Star Maidens.

Julie Ege (Norwegian pronunciation: [jʉːliə ˈeːɡə]; 12 November 1943 – 29 April 2008) was a Norwegian actress and model.

Ege was born in Høyland, Sandnes; she was a Miss Norway and Miss Universe contestant and a Penthouse Pet. In 1967, she moved to England as an au pair to improve her English and also studied at a language school.

She made her film debut in a low budget Norwegian film Stompa til sjøs (Jennings at Sea). Ege appeared in 1969's On Her Majesty's Secret Service as Helen, the "Scandinavian girl." She later starred in Hammer Film Productions' Creatures the World Forgot and The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires. Other appearances include the Gluttony segment of The Magnificent Seven Deadly Sins.

She's probably best remembered for her role in the 1971 comedy hit film "Up Pompeii" alongside Frankie Howerd. She played 'Volumptua', a Roman ruler. Her voice however was overdubbed by another actress for the film. Her famous punchline being when told 'it's nice' replies slowly " Yes, I know I've tried it".

The Persian Gulf War (2 August 1990 – 28 February 1991), codenamed Operation Desert Storm (17 January 1991 – 28 February 1991) commonly referred to as simply the Gulf War, was a war waged by a UN-authorized coalition force from 34 nations led by the United States, against Iraq in response to Iraq's invasion and annexation of Kuwait.

The war is also known under other names, such as the First Gulf War, Gulf War I, or the Iraq War, before the term "Iraq War" became identified instead with the 2003 Iraq War (also referred to in the U.S. as "Operation Iraqi Freedom").

The invasion of Kuwait by Iraqi troops that began 2 August 1990 was met with international condemnation, and brought immediate economic sanctions against Iraq by members of the UN Security Council. U.S. President George H. W. Bush deployed American forces into Saudi Arabia, and urged other countries to send their own forces to the scene. An array of nations joined the coalition. The great majority of the military forces in the coalition were from the United States, with Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and Egypt as leading contributors, in that order.
