Safe Haven is an award winning short film written by Craig Wallace, prodced by Tachy Studios and directed by Stuart Gilmartin. Starring: Chris Capaldi - Dan Clare Ross - Jo Lynsey Sinclair - Teri Gary Lind - Peter J. Scott Murray - Reece. Safe Haven is the first in a series of films from TACHY Studios that explores a dystopian world after the collapse of the government and society as we know. What was once deemed immoral, becomes the only way to survive. Safe Haven introduces the character of Jo; an inhabitant of one of many undisclosed bunkers that were built for children from privileged families after the world began to tear itself apart. Wanting to encapsulate the hope for the future survival of mankind within these children, the government envisioned that one day these children would rebuild the world around them, saving mankind from the ultimate extinction. Filming took place over a week in July 2014 on a very modest budget of £500 which was used to cover food and transport everything else came from the gear we already had and the generous contribution of all of our actor and crews time. We would like to complete the remaining films so the story is told in its entirety or raise enough funding to shoot all three parts as a feature film.
