John "Jack" Tunney Jr. (January 21, 1935 – January 24, 2004) was a Canadian professional wrestling promoter. He was known worldwide for his appearances on World Wrestling Federation television as the promotion's figurehead president. Tunney's tenure was during the company's initial worldwide popularity boom in the 1980s, the peak days of "Hulkamania".
Jack was born in 1935 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He had three younger siblings who largely stayed out of the Wrestling business.
Tunney met his wife Ann in the fourth grade, and they had two daughters. Ann died in 1991.
In 1930, Jack Corcoran set up Toronto's Queensbury Athletic Club (QAC, later known by the unofficial name of Maple Leaf Wrestling), along with Jack's father, John Tunney Sr., his uncle, Frank Tunney, and Toots Mondt.
In 1952, Jack entered into employment with the promotion, working alongside Frank, Norm Kimber, Frank Ayerst, Ed Noonan, and wrestlers Whipper Billy Watson and Pat Flanagan, as they promoted all over southern Ontario. The offices were across the street from the Maple Leaf Gardens. Later, Jack Tunney ran his operation out of the Gardens itself.
Kevin Scott Nash (born July 9, 1959) is an American semi-retired professional wrestler and actor, currently signed to WWE under their legends program. Nash has wrestled under several ring names, but is best known by his real name in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), and in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), where he has also been billed as Diesel.
In 1994, Nash (as Diesel) won all three titles comprising the WWF Triple Crown, and at that year's Slammy Awards won the MVP (now Superstar of the Year) and (with Shawn Michaels) the Best Tag Team (now Tag Team of the Year) awards.
Between WWE, WCW, and TNA, Nash has won a total of 21 championships, including being a six-time world champion (a five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and one-time WWF World Heavyweight Champion), and a 12-time world tag team champion between the three promotions. Although he held the WWF World Heavyweight Championship only once, Nash is the longest-reigning titleholder of the 1990s, with a 358-day run. During his time in WCW, Nash also became the first wrestler to defeat Goldberg and in the process ended his undefeated streak of 173–0 at Starrcade in 1998.
Vincent Kennedy "Vince" McMahon (born August 24, 1945) is an American professional wrestling promoter, former announcer, commentator, film producer, actor, and retired professional wrestler. Since taking over the company from his father in the 1980s McMahon has always worked in the corporate area of the WWE as well as behind the scenes. He currently serves as the majority owner, chairman, and CEO of the professional wrestling promotion.
McMahon has also occasionally competed as a professional wrestler using a gimmick known by the ring name Mr. McMahon, based on his real life persona. He is a two-time world champion, having won the WWF Championship in 1999 and ECW World Championship in 2007, and is the 1999 Royal Rumble winner. He headlined multiple pay-per-view events from 1999 to 2000 and participated in the main event of WrestleMania 2000, as a cornerman for The Rock. In singles competition, McMahon holds victories over former WWF/E Champions Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Triple H. McMahon continues his backstage and on-screen roles as the main Authority figure along with the rest of the McMahon family.
Terry Gene Bollea (born August 11, 1953), better known by his ring name Hulk Hogan, is an American professional wrestler, actor, television personality, entrepreneur and rock bassist.
Bollea enjoyed mainstream popularity in the 1980s and 1990s as the all-American character Hulk Hogan in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE), and as "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, the villainous nWo leader, in World Championship Wrestling (WCW). A regular pay-per-view headliner in both organizations, Hogan closed the respective premier annual events of the WWF and WCW, WrestleMania and Starrcade, on multiple occasions. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005. He was signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) from 2009 until 2013, where he was the on-screen General Manager and occasional wrestler.IGN described Hogan as "the most recognized wrestling star worldwide and the most popular wrestler of the '80s".
Hogan is a 12-time world champion; a six-time WWF/E (World Heavyweight) Champion and six-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He was the first wrestler to win consecutive Royal Rumbles, in 1990 and 1991.

A few years ago I had a Youtube Channel of over 200 boxing films posted of fight from the turn of the century to the 2000s. I went under the name Rotoscope. There were nearly 600 followers. Then one morning in 2008 I tried to log in and all the videos had been taken down, and the account blocked permanently. There weren't nearly as many boxing videos on Youtube then as there are now, so my channel unfortunately got the wrong kind of attention. This channel is mostly about vintage boxing, and my personal collection of 16mm films. I've gone back to my archives from the Rotoscope channel and will be reposting some of the best footage, beginning with this episode of Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney, taken within hours of their rematch in Chicago 1927. The shots of Dempsey posing for the pr...

http://TheJonHarder.com As World Wrestling Federation president from 1984-1995, Jack Tunney might have been the most legendary authority figurehead in professional wrestling history. He was fair, unbiased, and impartial. He made innovative decisions and important rulings that shaped the future of pro wrestling. From repeated dealings with Bobby Heenan and Hulk Hogan to indefinitely suspending Rick Rude for making fun of the Big Boss Man’s mother, Jack Tunney was a legend. His presence is most definitely missed in the WWF, especially in this day-and-age. Yet for some reason, the esteemed Tunney never got his due in the WWE Hall of Fame. Not even an inkling for respect and honor for all that he accomplished. That stops today! On behalf of the #HardwayHQ Podcasting Network, I have inducted...

The first of their two bouts was huge at the time, but has since been overshadowed by the rematch and "The Long Count" the following year. This silent film shows nearly thirty minutes of the famed Long Count Fight (also known as the Battle Of The Long Count) boxing match. This was actually a rematch between world Heavyweight champion Gene Tunney and former champion Jack Dempsey, held on September 25, 1927, at Soldier Field in Chicago. "Long Count" is applied to the fight because when Tunney was down the count was delayed due to Dempsey's failure to go to and remain in a neutral corner. Whether this "long count" actually affected the outcome remains a subject of debate. Just 364 days before, on September 26, 1926, Tunney had beaten Dempsey by a ten round unanimous decision to lift the world Heavyweight title, at Sesquicentennial Stadium in Philadelphia. The first fight between Tunney and Dempsey had been moved out of Chicago ...

Love come back my way again.
Love, come back and stay again.
Cause without you there's no dream
And my life is like a stream that won't run free.
Love, come back to me again.
And love, make my soul free again.
Cause without you I'll grow old, living out there in the cold.
And people will pass me by look at me see through me
Verse 2
Love, come back my way again
Love, brighten my day again
Cause without you I'm alone, and my heart ain't got a home.
And I feed on self pity; I live in a city of fear.
Love, come back to me again.
Love, let my eyes see again,
All the joy that I once knew, being with you close to you.
Being as free as the wind never feared what tomorrow would bring
Love, come back my way
Oh, Love
