How to register or deregister Uniden handsets to a base station. There seems to be a lot of confusion as to how this is done, so hopefully this will help you with your cordless phone set. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments and I will answer them.
As rain in Singapore is a part of daily life, it is very important to have waterproof feature in every electronic device. In that sense, Uniden PMR 1188 (Waterproof) Walkie Talkie set is really the perfect one for outdoor activities in Singapore. It is inexpensive (brand new one costs only SG$99 including delivery in two days), comes with three years warranty and its communication quality is great. It comes with desktop charger and belt clips. I can use this set even in Australia. I use it mainly to communicate with my models during outdoor telephoto shootouts. I also use that during tennis to communicate with my opponents. I am very happy with its performance.

I purchased the Uniden UBC92XLT from a local electronic store here in the UK as I have interest in Aviation as an early kid and have been fascinated as to what ATC say to the planes. So after a quick search online I came across this bad boy.
This little lightweight handheld scanner does not disappoint on any front. The little rubber duck aerial that you get with it can pick anything up from a brave distance as long as you have no obstacles or high items in your way. You can simply search Google and get local radio frequencies in your area, program them in and away you go. I have mine set mainly for airports where I live and although I am a considerable distance away form them I can still pick up the towers which is amazing. There is also a close call function on this scanner so if you are in an area you don't know simply turn this on and it will constantly scan and tune into any frequencies there is, which is always good! In this particular model you can save 200 channels which is amble or what most people will need.
The only complaint I have about this scanner is the fact it can take a bit of getting used to when trying to program a frequencies in, other than that there are no major complaints.

History
Uniden was established on February 7, 1966 by its founder Hideo Fujimoto. Uniden became a well-known brand in the 1970s by manufacturing and marketing millions of CB radios, under the Uniden brand as well as popular private brand labels such as Realistic and Cobra.
During the 1980s, Uniden grew to become the world's largest manufacturer of cordless telephones in addition to television satellite equipment, mobile radios, advanced marine electronics and radio scanners (the latter under brandname Bearcat).
In Europe, it became successful in the telecommunications market with its introduction of 900 MHz cordless telephones.
As Uniden continued to grow and extend its international operations, Uniden Australia and Uniden New Zealand were established in 1989. The company now offers an extensive range of consumer electronic products including Digital Cordless Phones and the top selling XDECT, SCR, WDECT and DSS technology Cordless phones, Transceiver Radios and Scanning Receivers, Wireless Networking Products and GPS Products. The company has just announced it will be selling bluetooth car kits, HD Set Top Boxes, Laser Pocket Projectors, HD Digital Photo Frame and Wireless Power Accessories (most of which have been withdrawn from market due to poor sales).

I purchased the Uniden UBC92XLT from a local electronic store here in the UK as I have interest in Aviation as an early kid and have been fascinated as to what ATC say to the planes. So after a quick search online I came across this bad boy. This little lightweight handheld scanner does not disappoint on any front. The little rubber duck aerial that you get with it can pick anything up from a brave distance as long as you have no obstacles or high items in your way. You can simply search Google and get local radio frequencies in your area, program them in and away you go. I have mine set mainly for airports where I live and although I am a considerable distance away form them I can still pick up the towers which is amazing. There is also a close call function on this scanner so if you are in an area you don't know simply turn this on and it will constantly scan and tune into any frequencies there is, which is always good! In this particular model you can save 200 channels which is amble or what most people will need. The only complaint I have about this scanner is the fact it can take a bit of getting used to when trying to program a frequencies in, other than that there are no major complaints. In this particular model you can save 200 channels which is amble or what most people will need.
The only complaint I have about this scanner is the fact it can take a bit of getting used to when trying to program a frequencies in, other than that there are no major complaints.
