Alas, that was not the back of Zara Holland's blonde head on Love Island last night (July 4), despite frantic speculation from viewers.
The 20-year-old former Miss Great Britain was rumoured to have returned to the ITV2 series after we were teased with a quick glimpse of a mystery Islander's blonde hair at the end of last night's explosive show.
However, an ITV spokesperson denied that Zara had returned, and confirmed it is a newbie.
It was announced that a new female cast member had entered the villa, and that the two male Islanders who had failed to couple up on yesterday's episode - Troy and Adam J - would have to graft sharpish to gain her approval.
The unknown female Islander will then pick which boy to save, and which boy to unceremoniously dump on tonight's show.
Zara left Love Island last month after her mother fell ill, and has since told Digital Spy that she had "no immediate plans to return to the villa".
She controversially lost her Miss GB title when she had sex with co-star Alex Bowen on the show, as the pageant said she didn't live up to the "responsibility" of the role.
Last night's show also saw the return of a scorned Malin Andersson - who went in to confront ex-boyfriend Terry Walsh for sleeping with new Islander Emma-Jane Woodham.
"He f**ked my week leaving the villa. I have f**ked his last week in the villa," she wrote on Twitter.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
