Good is the first album recorded by the Boston based alternative rock trio Morphine. It was originally released in 1992 on the Accurate label, and then re-released by Rykodisc in 1993.

Good Worldwide Inc., is a United States-based company with offices in Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, and Seattle, WA that promotes, connects, and reports on individuals, businesses, and non-profits. Good produces a website, a quarterly magazine, online videos, and events. The content covers a variety of topics, including the environment, education, urban planning, design, food, politics, culture, lifestyle, technology, and health. Good Worldwide Inc. is the consolidation of originally separate brands: Reason Pictures, Good Magazine, and Good Digital, in partnership with Causes, a Facebook/MySpace app promoting donations of time and money to charities and non-profits; Goodrec and Govit, an application that connects US citizens with their elected representatives. Good Worldwide Inc. is made up of three organizations: Good/Media, Good/Community and Good/Corps.

Good Media

Good/Media produces an online news site, www.good.is quarterly print magazine, Good Magazine. The magazine was started in 2006. The website receives about 10.1 MM unique visitors to its website each month. In December 2015 most of its editors were fired. The firings were "for strategic reasons" to shift Good's focus to its social network. Eight former Good Magazine editors and writers raised funds on Kickstarter to create the one-shot magazine Tomorrow before going their separate ways.

Good (song)

"Good" is a song by American alternative rock group Better Than Ezra. It was released in February 1995 as the first single from their major-label debut album, Deluxe. It reached No. 1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, No. 3 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, and No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Good" was featured in a trailer for the 1995 film The Baby-Sitters Club and on an episode of Hindsight.

Neşe Yılmaz (born 15 January 1976), known by her stage name Zara, is a popular Turkish folk singer and actress.

Biography

Of Kurdish descent, she was born in Üsküdar district of Istanbul in January 15, 1976. She graduated from the Sosyal Meskenler Primary School in Esatpaşa quarter. In 1991 and 1993, Zara, ranked first among female Turkish folk musical soloists in a nationwide high school level competition of music and folk dance organized by the newspaper Milliyet. She completed her higher education in the Department of Vocal Music of Istanbul Technical University State Conservatory. She released 8 arabesque albums as Neşecik (little Neşe) during her childhood.

In 1996, she passed the "qualified vocal artist" examination organized by TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation) and started to work as a contract Turkish folk singer. She acted and sang the role of Amber in the Yunus Emre musical staged at Atatürk Cultural Center in 1997. In 1998, she published her album, Avuntu (Consolation). In the same year, she played a lead role with Tarık Akan in her first feature film, Eylül Fırtınası (September Storm), directed by Atıf Yılmaz. In 2000, Zara brought out her second album, Boyut (Dimension) featuring songs from old Turkish films. Video for the music on her album was distributed on VCD.

Zadar

Zadar (Croatian pronunciation: [zâdar]; see other names) is a city in Croatia, situated on the Adriatic Sea. It is the centre of Zadar County and the wider northern Dalmatian region. In the last official census of 2011 the population of Zadar was 75,082, making it the fifth largest city in the country. Zadar is a historical centre of Dalmatia as well as the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Zadar: it has a rich history dating from prehistoric times.

Etymology and historical names

The name of the city of Zadar emerged as Iadera and Iader in ancient times, but the origin of the name is older. It was most probably related to a hydrographical term, coined by an ancient Mediterranean people and their Pre-Indo-European language. They transmitted it to later settlers, the Liburnians. The name of the Liburnian settlement was first mentioned by a Greek inscription from Pharos (Stari grad) on the island of Hvar in 384 BC, where the citizens of Zadar were noted as Ίαδασινοί (Iadasinoi). According to the Greek source Periplus of Pseudo-Scylax the city was Ίδασσα (Idassa), probably a Greek transcription of the original Liburnian expression.

ZaRa

ZaRa is a 10" EP by the Japanese noise musician Merzbow. This is his second release for the label after Dead Leaves. It is limited to 290 copies and comes in a silkscreened cover with a postcard and sticker. 30 copies have slightly colored printing.

It was announced on Merzbow's blog in August 2010 and available from two stores linked from the Merzbow site (Los Apson? and Doppelganger), but was not available for general purchase until early 2011.

Born to Die (Lana Del Rey album)

Born to Die is the second studio album and major-label debut by American singer and songwriter Lana Del Rey. It was released on January 27, 2012 by Interscope Records, Polydor Records, and Stranger Records. Del Rey collaborated with producers including Patrik Berger, Jeff Bhasker, Chris Braide, Emile Haynie, Justin Parker, Rick Nowels, Robopop, and Al Shux to achieve her desired sound. Their efforts resulted in a primarily baroque pop record, which sees additional influences from alternative hip hop, indie pop and trip hop music.

Contemporary music critics were divided in their opinions of Born to Die; some commended its distinctive production, while its repetitiveness and melodramatic tendencies were a recurring complaint. The record debuted at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 77,000 copies; it was later certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) after moving one million units. Born to Die reached the peak position on eleven international record charts, and has sold 8.5 million copies worldwide as of May 2015.
