There are two living species referred to as "mink": the European Mink and the American Mink. The extinct Sea Mink is related to the American Mink, but was much larger. All three species are dark-colored, semi-aquatic, carnivorous mammals of the family Mustelidae, which also includes the weasels and the otters and ferrets. The American Mink is larger and more adaptable than the European Mink. It is sometimes possible to distinguish between the European and American mink; a European Mink always has a large white patch on its upper lip, while the American species sometimes does not. Thus, any mink without such a patch can be identified with certainty as an American Mink, but an individual with a patch cannot be certainly identified without looking at the skeleton. Taxonomically, both American and European Minks used to be placed in the same genus Mustela ("Weasels"), but most recently the American Mink has been re-classified as belonging to its own genus Neovison.
The American Mink's fur has been highly prized for its use in clothing, with hunting giving way to farming. Its treatment has also been a focus of animal rights and animal welfareactivism. American Mink have found their way into the wild in Europe (including Ireland and Great Britain) and South America, after being released from mink farms by animal rights activists or otherwise escaping from captivity.

Plot: This end-of-the-millennium drama deals with the breakdown of communication, the loss of identity and the facelessness of corporate life. Phil and Anna are a young married, New York couple whose belief in their commitment to each other is on extremely tenuous ground. Each suspects the other of infidelity and even for this very modern thinking couple, this represents the worst kind of threat. But even as they feel each other slipping away, they are willing to do anything to save their relationship. Set in a highly stylized world in which no visual image, or character is random, Phil and Anna's fractured world can't help but implode.

Georgie has a crush on Jude, while Jude unrealistically fantasizes about a normal married life with Gabe. All the while, Jude is also trying to elude the sadistic Mink, who she inadvertently crossed.

Plot: A sardonic cinematic meditation on being a pop star. It recounts the desperate hours of a fictional performer who is equal parts Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. Not only does the Minotaur have the world on a string, but he has a hot tub shaped like a champagne glass, into which he lures unsuspecting beauty queens for the sole purpose of drug-addled kinkiness.

Plot: Duncan is a genius straight A student, Blade is juvenile delinquent. But because of a mix up with their school records, everyone thinks each is the other one. Now, Duncan kind of likes the attention from being thought of as a real bad dude, if only the school bully would stop trying to rough him up. And Blade definitely likes being thought of as important instead of as trouble, if only the teacher would stop hitting on him for a date.

Plot: A highly styled 'genre' film which can perhaps be seen as a pastiche of all gangster movies. Tom Reagan is the laconic anti-hero of this amoral tale which is also, paradoxically, a look at morals within the criminal underworld of the 1930s. Two rival gangs vie for control of a city where the police are pawns, and the periodic busts of illicit drinking establishments are no more than a way for one gang to get back at the other. Black humour and shocking violence compete for screen time as we question whether or not Tom, right-hand man of the Irish mob leader, really has a heart.

Genres: Comedy, Mystery,So many nights, I'd sit by my window,
Waiting for someone to sing me his song.
So many dreams, I kept deep inside me,
Alone in the dark, but now you've come along.
And you light up my life,
You give me hope, to carry on.
You light up my days
And fill my nights with song.
Rollin' at sea, adrift on the waters
Could it be finally, I'm turning for home
Finally a chance to say, "Hey, I Love You"
Never again to be all alone.
And you light up my life,
You give me hope, to carry on.
You light up my days
And fill my nights with song.
You, You light up my life
You give me hope to carry on
You light up my days
And fill my life with song
It can't be wrong when it feels so right
