La exposición del Centenario”, la muestra más importante organizada nunca en torno al artista con la que el Prado conmemorará el V centenario de su muerte.

En 2016 se cumplen 500 años de la muerte de El Bosco. Es casi el único dato sobre el autor de "El jardín de las delicias" al que podemos poner fecha precisa. "El Bosco, el jardín de los sueños" es una película sobre su cuadro más importante, y uno de los cuadros más icónicos del mundo: El jardín de las delicias.
Se han dado muchas interpretaciones de los cuadros de El Bosco desde su creación. El Bosco ha sido designado como un miembro de una secta esotérica, un cripto-cátaro, un alquimista, otros lo ven tan culto que incorporó mensajes complejos en forma de juegos de palabras visuales basadas en textos bíblicos o en el folclore. Estas interpretaciones a menudo sólo reflejan la mentalidad del espectador.
Es un cuadro para todos porque, mientras fascina los ojos del espectador medio, también contiene capas de profundidad que un espectador informado reconocerá como símbolos de niveles más profundos de significado e indagará en la naturaleza de sus misterios.

João Bosco de Freitas Mucci, better known as João Bosco (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈʒoãw ˈbosku]) is a noted Brazilian singer-songwriter with a distinctive style as a guitarist. In the 1970s he established his reputation in Brazilian MPB alongside collaborator lyricist Aldir Blanc.
Born on July 13, 1946, in Ponte Nova, Minas Gerais, João Bosco's profession was engineering when he moved to Rio de Janeiro, where his songs were also recorded by Elis Regina and were a success. He soon became admired as a versatile vocalist and a dynamic performer. João Bosco has been noted for "his singular fusion of Arab culture, Afro-American music and Brazilian styles bossa nova," influenced by American jazz.[citation needed] In the introduction to his three-volume Songbook, Almir Chediak observes, "Brilliant composer João Bosco's melodic and harmonic constructions are among the most auspicious in Brazilian music." Chapter Five of Masters of Contemporary Brazilian Song MPB 1965-1985 by Charles A. Perrone (U Texas P 1989) is dedicated to the work of Bosco and Blanc.

La exposición del Centenario”, la muestra más importante organizada nunca en torno al artista con la que el Prado conmemorará el V centenario de su muerte.

En 2016 se cumplen 500 años de la muerte de El Bosco. Es casi el único dato sobre el autor de "El jardín de las delicias" al que podemos poner fecha precisa. "El Bosco, el jardín de los sueños" es una película sobre su cuadro más importante, y uno de los cuadros más icónicos del mundo: El jardín de las delicias.
Se han dado muchas interpretaciones de los cuadros de El Bosco desde su creación. El Bosco ha sido designado como un miembro de una secta esotérica, un cripto-cátaro, un alquimista, otros lo ven tan culto que incorporó mensajes complejos en forma de juegos de palabras visuales basadas en textos bíblicos o en el folclore. Estas interpretaciones a menudo sólo reflejan la mentalidad del espectador.

Dirigido por José Luis López Linares, galardonado con tres premios Goya y nominado a los Emmy, este largometraje documental de 90 minutos se estrenará en las salas de cine coincidiendo con la apertura por parte del Museo del Prado de “El Bosco. La exposición del Centenario”, la muestra más importante organizada nunca en torno al artista con la que el Prado conmemorará el V centenario de su muerte.

En 2016 se cumplen 500 años de la muerte de El Bosco. Es casi el único dato sobre el autor de "El jardín de las delicias" al que podemos poner fecha precisa. "El Bosco, el jardín de los sueños" es una película sobre su cuadro más importante, y uno de los cuadros más icónicos del mundo: El jardín de las delicias.
Se han dado muchas interpretaciones de los cuadros de El Bosco desde su creación. El Bosco ha sido designado como un miembro de una secta esotérica, un cripto-cátaro, un alquimista, otros lo ven tan culto que incorporó mensajes complejos en forma de juegos de palabras visuales basadas en textos bíblicos o en el folclore. Estas interpretaciones a menudo sólo reflejan la mentalidad del espectador.
