Hunter (2015 film)

Hunter is a 2015 film directed by Gregory Hatanaka and starring Ron Becks with Magda Marcella, Kristine DeBell, George Lazenby and Laurene Landon. It follows the exploits of a veteran cop who must hunt down a cop killer as well as a female teenage serial killer.

Hunter (1973 film)

Hunter is a 1973 film directed by Leonard Horn and written by Cliff Gould, starring John Vernon, involving the kidnapping and brainwashing of a race car driver in order to turn him into an assassin against America. The torture used against him involves forcing him to watch footage of the Winged monkeys from The Wizard of Oz, a-la A Clockwork Orange, giving rise to the now-famous pop-culture catch phrase "Please, stop the monkeys!"

Cunter (band)

Cunter (formerly known as Hunter) is a five-piece hardcore punk supergroup from Brampton, Ontario. It features members of Moneen, Alexisonfire, BWC Studios and The Abandoned Hearts Club. The band was founded early 2009 and is signed on Dine Alone Records. The band members were secretly revealed via a promotional website.

As of May 11, 2011, Hunter changed its name to "Cunter" after being threatened with a lawsuit over the rights of the name.

Standard Generalized Markup Language

The Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML; ISO 8879:1986) is for defining generalized markup languages for documents. ISO 8879 Annex A.1 defines generalized markup:

HTML was theoretically an example of an SGML-based language until HTML 5, which admits that browsers cannot parse it as SGML (for compatibility reasons) and codifies exactly what they must do instead.

DocBook SGML and LinuxDoc are better examples, as they were used almost exclusively with actual SGML tools.

Jade (song)

"Jade" is a song by Japanese heavy metal band X Japan, released on June 28, 2011 in Europe, North and South America, and on July 13 in Japan and Southeast Asia. It is the band's third single since reuniting in 2007 and the second to feature newest member Sugizo on guitar, as well as their first worldwide release.

Background and release

With "Jade" Yoshiki wanted to create a song that would show how X Japan is "evolving," but that still retained "the beautiful melodies and aggressiveness." He stated he felt a lot of pressure when writing it, as the band knew they wanted to expand outside Japan into the Western market. The lyrics are entirely in English with the exception of a single line. With the song he wanted to express the pain that he, as well as X Japan, has experienced; saying "you should just accept it and be positive about it."

Originally set for March 15, 2011, the band decided to postpone the release of "Jade" due to the March 11 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. "Jade" reached number one on iTunes Spain, Sweden and Japan. It reached number 19 on Billboard's Japan Hot 100.

Woman (1968 film)

Woman (여 - Yeo) is a 1968 three-part South Korean film directed by Kim Ki-young, Jung Jin-woo and Yu Hyun-mok. The film was based on ideas of Kim Ki-young's wife, Kim Yu-bong, and Kim directed the last third.

Synopsis

The film is a melodrama about a man who falls in love with a woman while traveling to Seoraksan. The man becomes infatuated with the woman's hair. The woman, who has a terminal illness, promises to leave her hair to the man after she has died. Later the man finds that the woman has died, and her hair has been sold to someone else. He then has a romantic relationship with another woman who turns out to be his mother.
