The exhibition Italians on Holiday comprised a series of visions related to the state of being on holiday. The works are the result of chance encounters that arise from the renunciation of the preoccupation with design: from this emptying, from this reduction in attention, there resulted meetings that materialised in photographs, drawings, videos. The works thus constructed are at the same time recognition of the self: Thailand by Antonio Rovaldi, registration tables by Sabrina Mezzaqui, the desert and the night by Giovanni Ozzola, the Peloponnese by Michelangelo Consani, the Atlantic beach by Robert Pettena, and are regions of the soul rather than geographic entities.

It's been quite a long journey, since i started this project. Having purchased the Music Minus One based on the singer 'Jane Mcdonald', to whom i have not yet the chance to listen, due to some copy right regulation in Germany, i used Logic Express to adjust the key and to completely rearrange the speed of the song. The song now has 4 different speeds which i personally believe matches the theme of the lyric just fine. After the recording session, i then used my new camera, a Panasonic lumix G3, to shoot the clips. Needless to say it needed more time than usual, since i am totally a toddler in the photography world, a DSLR is a language i don't speak at all. Last but not least, i then used, for the first time, a new program from Apple, a Final Cut Pro X, to edit the clips. A super software even for an illiterate like me in this editing world. I hope you will enjoy the video, just like me since i started the project on its first day.
Finally i would like to thank sincerely some Youtube friends, who, either kindly allowed me to use their materials to complete my video or patiently explained to me various technical queries i encountered along the way.

Windmills Of Your Mind
It's been quite a long journey, since i started this project. Having purchased the Music Minus One based on the singer 'Jane Mcdonald', to whom i have not yet the chance to listen, due to some copy right regulation in Germany, i used Logic Express to adjust the key and to completely rearrange the speed of the song. The song now has 4 different speeds which i personally believe matches the theme of the lyric just fine. After the recording session, i then used my new camera, a Panasonic lumix G3, to shoot the clips. Needless to say it needed more time than usual, since i am totally a toddler in the photography world, a DSLR is a language i don't speak at all. Last but not least, i then used, for the first time, a new program from Apple, a Final Cut Pro X, to edit the clips. A super software ... -

It's been quite a long journey, since i started this project. Having purchased the Music Minus One based on the singer 'Jane Mcdonald', to whom i have not yet the chance to listen, due to some copy right regulation in Germany, i used Logic Express to adjust the key and to completely rearrange the speed of the song. The song now has 4 different speeds which i personally believe matches the theme of the lyric just fine. After the recording session, i then used my new camera, a Panasonic lumix G3, to shoot the clips. Needless to say it needed more time than usual, since i am totally a toddler in the photography world, a DSLR is a language i don't speak at all. Last but not least, i then used, for the first time, a new program from Apple, a Final Cut Pro X, to edit the clips. A super software even for an illiterate like me in this editing world. I hope you will enjoy the video, just like me since i started the project on its first day.
Finally i would like to thank sincerely some Youtube friends, who, either kindly allowed me to use their materials to complete my video or patiently explained to me various technical queries i encountered along the way.
