Mexico promotes UN Security Council reform

Foreign Secretary Claudia Ruiz Massieu spoke today at the Harvard National Model United Nations Latin America (HNMUNLA), saying that Mexico is promoting the modernization of the UN Security Council so that it can adapt to the new global reality.

Interministerial Meeting on Mexico’s report to CEDAW

Foreign Secretary Claudia Ruiz Massieu and the President of the National Women's Institute (INMUJERES), Lorena Cruz Sanchez, chaired a interministerial meeting to begin selecting the policies, programs and outcomes to include in Mexico’s report related to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW). Mexico will present its ninth report to CEDAW in 2016.
