You Can

"You Can" is a 1981 single by Madleen Kane and produced by Giorgio Moroder. The song was written by Yolanda Yvette Adams, Donald Ray Atkins and Marcus Ecby. Along with the track, "Fire in My Heart", "You Can" was Kane's most successful single on the dance charts, spending three weeks at number one. The single was her only Hot 100 chart entry, peaking at #77.

A Moment

A Moment is the second album of R&B singer Lalah Hathaway. The album's first single was "Let Me Love You," produced by Brian Alexander Morgan of SWV fame. A video was also shot for the single. The follow-up single was "Separate Ways," released as a double-A side single with "Family Affair." The Martyn Ware-produced "Family Affair" was actually released in 1991 and billed as "BEF featuring Lalah Hathaway".

The CD format of the album is now out-of-print, but is available as a digital download.

In a Moment

"In a Moment" is a song by rock band Stereophonics. It is the ninth track on their 2013 album Graffiti on the Train and was released as the album's lead-single on 4th November 2012.

Writing and release

When speaking to NME, lead singer Kelly Jones said the song is "about finding some hope in life. It's about those moments in life when you feel a bit lost and stuck and you don't know how to get out of it and then there's a glimmer of hope that helps you pull through it. It's quite a spiritual song."

The drum loop which is featured throughout the song was programmed by fellow producer Jim Lowe. Although Javier Weyler recorded the drums for the song, this is the first single to be released without him in the band as he left in July 2012.

Formats

Stereophonics released "In a Moment" as a free download on 4 November 2012. Due to it being free the song was not eligible to chart. Promotional singles were made available on 12 November 2012 which featured the song, radio edit and the instrumental version. The limited 10" vinyl edition with lyrics etched on Side B was available to pre-order on the band's website and was released on 4 November 2012. The cover art for "In a Moment" was designed by Steve Goddard who also designed the oil painting artwork for Graffiti on the Train.

And I

"And I" is a song written by American R&B singer Ciara, and produced by Adonis Shropshire for Ciara's first album, Goodies (2004). It was released as the album's fourth and final single on August 30, 2005 (see 2005 in music) in North America.

The song was originally the third choice for the fourth single. Ciara has mentioned in an interview that "Thug Style", "Hotline" or "Pick up the Phone" would be the fourth single, but when Ciara suggested "And I" to executives at her previous record label LaFace, they were unhappy because they wanted "Next to You" to be the fourth single.

Chart performance

At the time of the U.S. release of "And I", Ciara's collaboration with Bow Wow, "Like You", and her collaboration with Missy Elliott, "Lose Control", were at the height of their popularity. "And I" peaked at 96 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and 27 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, which were poor positions compared to those attained by the first three singles from the album Goodies. It was not released outside North America because of this, and it is Ciara's least successful single.
