It might be said that a mother's love is a universal phenomenon — but you don't often imagine that applying to what recently happened between a rat and a snake.
"Today while I was returning home, I witnessed this amazing act of love from a mother," wrote Rojas Montecinos Envy on her Facebook page.
She filmed the whole incident, which shows a snake trying to slither away with a tiny baby rat.
But the mother wasn't having any of it. She was quick on his tail, biting at the snake, determined to save her baby's life.

A mother in Georgia has dodged jail time after she hosted a naked twister party for her teenage daughter and her friends. She confessed her issues to an Alcoholics Anonymous group, who then turned her into the police. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian, hosts of The Young Turks, break it down. "A mother in Evans, Georgia, is being accused of hosting a party for her teenage daughter that allegedly included naked Twister, consumption of pot and alcohol and culminated with the woman having sex with a 16-year-old male.
Rachel Lynn Lehnardt, 35, was arrested Saturday night and charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The charges stem from a wild party allegedly held a few weeks ago in her home, according to police reports. The suspect also has lost custody of her five children, ages 4, 6, 8, 10, and 16.”*

Mother
Mothers are women who inhabit or perform the role of bearing some relation to their children, who may or may not be their biological offspring. Thus, dependent on the context, women can be considered mothers by virtue of having given birth, by raising their child(ren), supplying their ovum for fertilization, or some combination thereof. Such conditions provide a way of delineating the concept of motherhood, or the state of being a mother. Women who meet the third and first categories usually fall under the terms 'birth mother' or 'biological mother', regardless of whether the individual in question goes on to parent their child. The above concepts defining the role of mother are neither exhaustive nor universal, as any definition of 'mother' may differ based on how social, cultural, and religious roles are defined. The parallel conditions and terms for males: those who are (typically biologically) fathers do not, by definition, take up the role of fatherhood. It should also be noted that mother and fatherhood are not limited to those who are or have parented. Women who are pregnant may be referred to as expectant mothers or mothers-to-be, though such applications tend to be less readily applied to (biological) fathers or adoptive parents.

Mother Rat Fights Off Snake So She Can Save Her Baby
It might be said that a mother's love is a universal phenomenon — but you don't often imagine that applying to what recently happened between a rat and a snake. "Today while I was returning home, I witnessed this amazing act of love from a mother," wrote Rojas Montecinos Envy on her Facebook page. She filmed the whole incident, which shows a snake trying to slither away with a tiny baby rat. But the mother wasn't having any of it. She was quick on his tail, biting at the snake, determined to save her baby's life. -

"A mother in Evans, Georgia, is being accused of hosting a party for her teenage daughter that allegedly included naked Twister, consumption of pot and alcohol and culminated with the woman having sex with a 16-year-old male.
Rachel Lynn Lehnardt, 35, was arrested Saturday night and charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The charges stem from a wild party allegedly held a few weeks ago in her home, according to police reports. The suspect also has lost custody of her five children, ages 4, 6, 8, 10, and 16.”*
