Dr. Patrice A. McClellan is Associate Professor of Business and Leadership and Director of the Masters of Organizational Leadership program at Lourdes University. Prior to joining Lourdes University in 2009, Dr. McClellan was a member of the faculty at Miami University of Ohio where she oversaw curriculum development for Miami's Wilkes Leadership Institute and served as Special Assistant to the Vice President of Student Affairs.
Her research focuses on leadership education, developing culturally competent leaders and organizational change strategies. I was so lucky to be there with my camera at the time Chesney was learning to walk! I took most of the photos in sequence, so I decided to make a movie out of it. I couldn't help but be a little choked up while putting this together. My son and his girlfriend are in LOVE with their beautiful little niece as you will see in this video :)

White House
The White House is the official residence and principal workplace of the President of the United States, located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. It has been the residence of every U.S. president since John Adams in 1800.
The house was designed by Irish-born James Hoban and built between 1792 and 1800 of white-painted Aquia Creek sandstone in the Neoclassical style. When Thomas Jefferson moved into the house in 1801, he (with architect Benjamin Henry Latrobe) expanded the building outward, creating two colonnades that were meant to conceal stables and storage. However, in 1814, during the War of 1812, the mansion was set ablaze by the British Army in the Burning of Washington, destroying the interior and charring much of the exterior. Reconstruction began almost immediately, and President James Monroe moved into the partially reconstructed Executive Residence in October 1817. Construction continued with the addition of the South Portico in 1824 and the North in 1829.

Scott McClellan
Scott McClellan (born February 14, 1968) is a former White House Press Secretary (2003–06) for President George W. Bush, and author of a controversial No. 1 New York Times bestseller about the Bush Administration titled What Happened. He replaced Ari Fleischer as press secretary in July 2003 and served until May 10, 2006. McClellan was the longest serving press secretary under George W. Bush.
He is now the Vice President for Communications at Seattle University.
Family
Born in Austin, Texas, McClellan is the youngest son of Carole Keeton Strayhorn, former Texas State Comptroller and former 2006 independent Texas gubernatorial candidate, and attorney Barr McClellan. McClellan's brother Mark headed the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and was formerly Commissioner for the Food and Drug Administration. McClellan is the grandson of the late W. Page Keeton, longtime Dean of the University of Texas School of Law and renowned expert in tort law. He married Jill Martinez in November 2003. They have one son.

Dana Perino
Dana Marie Perino (born May 9, 1972) is an American political pundit. She was the 27th White House Press Secretary, serving under President George W. Bush from September 14, 2007 to January 20, 2009. She was the second female White House Press Secretary, after Dee Dee Myers who served during the Clinton Administration. She is currently a political commentator for Fox News, while also serving as a co-host of the network's talk show The Five, and is a book publishing executive at Random House.
Early life and career
Perino was born in Evanston, Wyoming, the daughter of Janice "Jan" and Leo Perino, and grew up in Denver, Colorado. Two of her paternal great-grandparents were Italian immigrants. She attended Ponderosa High School in Parker, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. Perino graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo (CSU-Pueblo) in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in mass communications and minors in both political science and Spanish. While attending CSU-Pueblo, she was on the forensics team. She also worked at KTSC-TV, the campus-based Rocky Mountain PBS affiliate. While at college, she also worked at KCCY-FM on the 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. shift. Perino went on to obtain a masters degree in public affairs reporting from the University of Illinois Springfield (UIS). During her time at UIS, she also worked for WCIA, a CBS affiliate, as a daily reporter covering the Illinois Capitol.

George W. Bush
George Walker Bush (born July 6, 1946) is an American politician and businessman who served as the 43rd President of the United States from 2001 to 2009, and the 46th Governor of Texas from 1995 to 2000. The eldest son of Barbara and George H. W. Bush, he was born in New Haven, Connecticut. After graduating from Yale University in 1968 and Harvard Business School in 1975, he worked in oil businesses. He married Laura Welch in 1977 and ran unsuccessfully for the House of Representatives shortly thereafter. He later co-owned the Texas Rangers baseball team before defeating Ann Richards in the 1994 Texas gubernatorial election. He was elected president in 2000 after a close and controversial election, becoming the fourth president to be elected while receiving fewer popular votes nationwide than his opponent. He is the second president to have been the son of a former president, the first having been John Quincy Adams. He is also the brother of Jeb Bush, who is a former Governor of Florida and candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in the 2016 presidential election.

Dr. Patrice A. McClellan is Associate Professor of Business and Leadership and Director of the Masters of Organizational Leadership program at Lourdes University. Prior to joining Lourdes University in 2009, Dr. McClellan was a member of the faculty at Miami University of Ohio where she oversaw curriculum development for Miami's Wilkes Leadership Institute and served as Special Assistant to the Vice President of Student Affairs.
Her research focuses on leadership education, developing culturally competent leaders and organizational change strategies. Dr. McClellan has published works in various journals and is also co-author of most recent book titled." Herstories: Leading with the Lessons of the Lives of Black Women Activists.”

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove gave up his policy portfolio and press secretary Scott McClellan resigned on Wednesday, continuing a shake-up in President George W Bush''s administration.
McClellan, perhaps the administration''s most recognisable face internationally, appeared with Bush on the White House''s South Lawn to announce his decision to resign his post as press secretary, which he has held since June of 2003.
McClellan said he has given the job "his all," and will continue to do so until a new press secretary is named.
For his part, President Bush said McClellan had "a challenging assignment" which he said he handled with "class and integrity."
Also senior Bush administration official, Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove, the political guru who has guided Bush''s career since he first ran for Texas governor in the mid-1990s, is giving up his policy portfolio to focus more on politics.
After the announcement, Bush and McClellan walked across the lawn together and boarded Marine One, but a problem with the helicopter''s radio kept it grounded.
The president and his staff was forced to take a motorcade to Andrews Air Force Base, from where Bush was flying to visit Alabama.
McClellan and Rove rode in the president''s limousine to the military base.
Earlier in the morning, the president made a brief statement about the war in Iraq from the White House Rose Garden.
Appearing with a group of governors who had just returned from Iraq and Afghanistan, Bush said he didn''t expect everyone to agree with his decision to go to war.
But he said Americans should know "failure in Iraq is not an option."
Bush''s popularity is at an all-time low, largely because of a perception among Americans that the Iraq war is going extremely poorly.
That and a series of second-term missteps has seen Bush''s popularity fall to around 35 percent, the lowest during his presidency.

Portico. The house was originally built without porticos. Before
construction of the north portico in 1824, the north façade looked much
more similar to Leinster House shown in the picture immediately below.
Both James Hobanoriginal architect of the White House, and Benjamin
Henry Latrobe who developed plans for its rebuilding after the 1814
fire, proposed north and south porticos. Both porticos, as built, are
the work of Hoban. 'Leinster House in Dublin' The eighteenth century
ducal palace in Dublin served as a model for the White House. 'The
White House' from the South Lawn showing the columned South Portico.
The South Portico was constructed in 1829 based on earlier drawings by
James Hoban. The second floor balcony, known as the Truman Balcony, was
added in 1947. Welcome ceremonies for visiting heads of state take
place on the South Lawn. Marine One, the president's helicopter
service, lands and departs from the South Lawn. 'Jefferson's West
Colonnade' is seen on the left of the residence in this nineteenth
century engraved view. The West Colonnade originally concealed a stable
and laundry room. Later it became the site of Franklin Roosevelt's
swimming pool. President Nixon converted the space to the current Press
Briefing Room. 'Truman reconstruction, 1949-1952' First the interior
rooms were dismantled and stored, then within the original walls a

Katherine Mary Knight (born 24 October 1955) was the first Australian woman to be sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. She was convicted of the murder of her partner, John Charles Thomas Price (born 6 January 1955) in October 2001, and is currently detained in Silverwater Women's Correctional Centre.
Originally from the town of Aberdeen in New South Wales' Hunter Valley, Barbara Roughan (Née Thorley) was forced to move to Moree after beginning a relationship with Ken Knight, a co-worker of her husband Jack Roughan. The Roughan and Knight families were both well known in the conservative rural town and the affair was a major scandal. Two of Roughan’s four children remained with their father while the two youngest were sent to live with an aunt in Sydney.
Katherine Knight was the younger of twins born to Barbara and her de facto partner Ken on 24 October 1955 in Tenterfield, New South Wales. Jack Roughan died in 1959 and the two children who had lived with him moved in with the Knight family. Barbara’s grandmother was apparently an Indigenous Australian from the Moree area who had married an Irishman. She was proud of this fact and liked to think of her own family as Aboriginal. This was kept a family secret, as there was considerable racism in the area at the time and this was a source of tension for the children. Apart from her twin, the only person Knight was close to was her uncle Oscar Knight who was a champion horseman. She was devastated when he committed suicide in 1969 and continues to maintain that his ghost visits her. The family moved back to Aberdeen the same year.
Knight's initial offer to plead guilty to manslaughter was rejected and she was arraigned on 2 February 2001 on the charge of murdering Price, to which she entered a plea of not guilty. Her trial was initially fixed for 23 July 2001 but was adjourned due to her counsel's illness and it was re-fixed for 15 October 2001.
When the trial commenced, Justice Barry O'Keefe offered the 60 jury prospects the option of being excused due to the nature of the photographic evidence which five accepted. When the witness list was read out to the prospects several more also dropped out after which the jury was empanelled. Knight's attorneys then spoke to the judge who adjourned to the following day; the next morning, Knight changed her plea to guilty, and the jury was dismissed. It was now made public that Justice O'Keefe had been advised of the plea change the day before. He had adjourned the trial and then ordered a psychiatric assessment overnight to determine if Knight understood the consequences of a guilty plea and was fit to make such a plea. Knight's legal team had planned to defend Knight by claiming amnesia and dissociation, a claim supported by most psychiatrists although they did consider her sane.
No reason has ever been given for the guilty plea, and despite giving it, Knight still refused to accept responsibility for her actions. At the sentencing hearing, Knight's lawyers requested that Knight be excused to avoid hearing some of the facts, but the application was refused. When Dr. Timothy Lyons took the stand and described the skinning and decapitation, Knight became hysterical and had to be sedated.
On 8 November, Justice O'Keefe pointed out that the nature of the crime and Knight's lack of remorse required a severe penalty; he sentenced her to life imprisonment, refused to fix a non-parole period and ordered that her papers be marked "never to be released", the first time that this had been imposed on a woman in Australian history.
In June 2006, Knight appealed the life sentence, claiming that a penalty of life in jail without possibility of parole was too severe for the killing. Justices Peter McClellan, Michael Adams and Megan Latham dismissed the appeal in the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal in September, with Justice McClellan writing in his judgement "This was an appalling crime, almost beyond contemplation in a civilized society."

Perino was born in Evanston, Wyoming, the daughter of Janice "Jan" and Leo Perino,[3] and grew up in Denver, Colorado.[4] Two of her paternal great-grandparents were Italian immigrants.[5][6][7] She attended Ponderosa High School in Parker, Colorado, a suburb of Denver.[4] Perino graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo (CSU-Pueblo) in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in mass communications and minors in both political science and Spanish.[2] While attending CSU-Pueblo, she was on the forensics team. She also worked at KTSC-TV, the campus-based Rocky Mountain PBS affiliate,[8] where she served as host of Capitol Journal, a weekly summary of Colorado politics, and produced Standoff, a weekly public affairs program.[citation needed] While at college, she also worked at KCCY-FM on the 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. shift.[9] Perino went on to obtain a masters degree in public affairs reporting from the University of Illinois Springfield (UIS).[10] During her time at UIS, she also worked for WCIA, a CBS affiliate, as a daily reporter covering the Illinois Capitol.[11]
