BATH BOMB FROSTING: These make enough to pipe 14 regular sized bath bomb cupcake bottoms. 8oz Citric Acid 16oz Baking Soda 3-4oz SLSA 4oz Crm of Tartar 2.5tblspn Kaolin Clay 6oz Cocoa butter 1oz Almond Oil 0.5-1oz FO/EO Poly 80 is optional but helps to disperse the oils. Colorant (if dry, add to dry ingredients, if liquid, add to oils) I mix the dry ingredients in my mixing bowl with my hands while the oils are melting. I add the FO/EO to the melted oils. The mixer then gets turned on and the oils are slowly added to the dry powders. This will eventually become like thick buttercream. Wait until it cools a bit before putting in a piping bag. Pipe!! It will still be warm! If it gets too hard to pipe, warm it up again - I have never had to do that as I'm done piping before it hardens up. Will be soft for a day or two... Don't touch!!! It'll harden up. It will. I usually half this recipe and can get it all in one bag at once without having to stop and refill.
