The Fix (House)

"The Fix" is the twenty-first episode of the seventh season of the American medical drama House. It aired on May 9, 2011. The episode mentions wikipedia and Vertigo movie.

Plot

After losing a bet on a boxing match to Wilson, House sets out to prove the fighter he bet on (Kevin Phillips) lost due to an underlying medical condition. House also begins injecting himself with an experimental drug reported to regrow muscle in rats. The team treats a scientist, Dr. Lee (Linda Park) for seizures and symptoms of radiation poisoning. They discover that Dr. Lee's boyfriend, Caesar, has been poisoning her with Spanish Fly, which causes symptoms similar to radiation poisoning.

Besides the main cast the episode also features Ken Olandt, John T. Woods, Drew Cohn, Frank Drank, Denice Sealy, Helena Apothaker and Bobbin Bergstrom.

Chris Cillizza

Christopher Michael "Chris" Cillizza (/sᵻˈlɪzə/; born February 20, 1976) is an American political reporter for the Washington Post. He writes The Fix, a daily political weblog for the Post website. He is a regular contributor to the Post on political issues, and is an MSNBC political analyst. Cillizza is also a regular co-host on The Tony Kornheiser Show.

Life and career

Cillizza was born in Marlborough, Connecticut of Sicilian and Irish descent. Cillizza attended the Loomis Chaffee prep school and graduated in 1994. He is a Class of 1998 alumnus of Georgetown University. He was born and raised in Marlborough, Connecticut and currently resides in Falls Church, Virginia with his wife and two children.

He began his career at The Cook Political Report and, later, Roll Call prior to joining The Washington Post. For the Cook Report he covered gubernatorial races and southern House races. He wrote a column on politics for Congress Daily. During his four years at Roll Call, which he joined in June 2001, he reported on campaign politics from the presidential to the congressional level, finishing his time at Roll Call as the paper's White House correspondent. His freelance work has appeared in a variety of publications including the Atlantic Monthly, Washingtonian, and Slate. He has also been a guest on CNN, Fox News Channel and MSNBC. In 2012, Cillizza served as an unofficial lead in co-host on MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell Reports.

The Fix (song)

"The Fix" is a song by American hip hop recording artist Nelly featuring American singer Jeremih. The track is produced by DJ Mustard and Mike Free and samples Marvin Gaye's 1982 hit song "Sexual Healing". The song came to fruition as a result of Nelly and DJ Mustard having the same publisher, who made sure all references to the interpolation contained within "The Fix" were cleared before it was released.

The song premiered on August 6, 2015, and was released for digital download on August 14.

Commercial performance

"The Fix" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated September 5, 2015 at number 86. Its chart debut was fueled by first-week digital download sales of 42,000 copies. As of January 2016, "The Fix" has been certified Gold from RIAA for selling 500,000 copies domestically.

Music video

The accompanying music video for the track was directed by Aristotle and filmed at the Sheats Goldstein Residence in Beverly Crest, Los Angeles, California. It was released on September 24, 2015.

Map is an indie pop band from Riverside, CA that consists of Josh Dooley (guitar, Voice, Harmonica), Paul Akers (Keyboards) and Trevor Monks (drums).

Biography

Josh Dooley formed Map in 2000, recording two EPs, Teaching Turtles to Fly, and Eastern Skies, Western Eyes.

Map released their first full length record, Secrets By The Highway, in 2003.

In the summer of 2004, Map released their second full length record, Think Like An Owner. This album was his first record backed by his current band line-up, consisting of Loop (bass), Heather Bray (guitar, voice) and Ben Heywood (drums).

Map released their third EP, San Francisco in the 90s, with more additions to their band line-up, consisting of Paul Akers (keyboards) and Trevor Monks (drums). This album gives tribute to late-80s Brit pop and mid-60s American jangle rock.
