Love Storm is the fifth album by American soul/R&B group Tavares, and the second to be produced by Freddie Perren, released in 1977 on the Capitol label. The album continues in the style Perren had used on 1976's Sky High!, with a mixture of R&B material and radio-friendly disco-oriented tracks.
Lead single "Whodunit", with its lyrics pleading to several 1970s TV detectives ("Hey Baretta, won't you please go get her? .... Kojak, won't you bring her back?"), became the group's third and final R&B chart-topper, also reaching #22 on the pop chart and #5 in the United Kingdom. "One Step Away" also made the UK top 20, but "I Wanna See You Soon", featuring Capitol label-mate Freda Payne, stalled just outside the Top 50, breaking a run of five consecutive top 25 singles for the group in Britain. Love Storm includes one cover version, the Jim Weatherly-penned "The Going Ups and the Coming Downs", originally recorded by Gladys Knight & the Pips on their 1974 album I Feel a Song. The album peaked at #15 on the R&B chart and #59 on the pop chart.

Lost in Love is the fifth studio album by Australian soft rock band Air Supply, released in March 1980. Their previous four albums never received much attention outside Australia, but Lost in Love was a massive success on international charts. It peaked at #22 in the US with three Top 5 singles. It sold over 3 million copies, reaching multi-platinum status.
Hit singles include the title track "Lost in Love", which peaked at #3 on US charts in May 1980 and earned Graham Russell a composer award for "song of the year" and "most played song". The song is considered by many to be their signature song and is admittedly Russell Hitchcock's favourite. The single "All Out of Love" became the biggest hit from the album, reaching #2 in the US. It has been regarded as their most famous song, including several interpretations. The third top 5 single of the album, "Every Woman in the World", peaked at #5 in the US. Although never a single, "Chances" has been included on many of the band's hits compilations. "Just Another Woman", a disco song, was originally released on the album Life Support, and was also a hit in Malaysia during the 1980s.
"Lost in Love" is a 1985 ballad by R&B/pop group New Edition, and is the third single from their eponymous second album, New Edition. Released in early 1985, the song peaked at #35 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #6 on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart.
The single version for "Lost in Love" features some instruments that are beefed up and vocal parts towards the end that are cut and mixed with the lead vocals as compared to the original album version. This alternate version is found on both their 2004 greatest hits album Hits and their 2005 greatest hits compilation Gold.

You realize that the best part of love
Is the thinnest lies
It don't count for much
But I'm not letting go
I believe there's so much to believe in
So lift your eyes if you feel you can
Reach for a star and I'll show you a plan
I figured it out
What I needed was someone to show me
You know you can't fool me
I've been lovin' you to long
It started so easy
You want to carry on
Lost in love and I don't know much
'Cause I'm thinkin' aloud
And I fell out of touch
I'm back on my feet
And I'm eager to be what you wanted
So lift your eyes if you feel that you can
Reach for a star and I'll show you a plan
I figured it out
What I needed was someone to show me
You know you can't fool me
I've been lovin' you to long
It started so easy
You want to carry on
carry on carry on
Lost in love and I don't know much
'Cause I'm thinkin' aloud
And I fell out of touch (lost in love)
I'm back on my feet
And I'm eager to be what you wanted
So lift your eyes if you feel you can
Reach for a star and I'll show you a plan
