Amit Sial

Amit Sial is an Indian actor from Kanpur,Uttar Pradesh.He graduated B.Com. (Hons) 1993-96 from Delhi College of Arts and Commerce. He obtained his Post Graduation diploma in International Business from Swinburne University of Technology from Melbourne, Australia. During the same time he did a lot of theater work in Melbourne. He did his professional theater training in Delhi, India with Theater Action Group (TAG) under Barry John (1994–1997). He got noticed for his work in director Dibakar Banerjee’s film Love Sex aur Dhokha, where he played a sting journalist, Prabhat, who is on the verge of committing suicide.

Early life and background

Sial was born and brought up in old Kanpur. His father was into leather business and mother was a librarian. He has a younger brother who is a Chartered Accountant.

Ranvir Shorey

Ranvir Shorey is an Indian actor and former VJ. Since making his debut in Ek Chhotisi Love Story (2002), he has starred in a number of high-profile films such as Jism (2003) and Lakshya (2004). He has also starred in the critically acclaimed films Traffic Signal, Bheja Fry (2007) and the critical and commercial hit Mithya (2008).

Career

Along with friend and co-star Vinay Pathak, he was the host of the successful talk show Ranvir Vinay Aur Kaun? and The Great Indian Comedy Show which aired on STAR One.

He made his debut opposite Manisha Koirala in the film Ek Chhotisi Love Story (2002). It was a box office failure. His next film Jism (2003) was a hit but he had a minor role. It was not until 2006 that he got noticed in the comedy Khosla Ka Ghosla. The film was released to much acclaim and his comic role was praised. He played Nanoo in the comedy Pyaar Ke Side Effects alongside Rahul Bose as his funny friend. He appeared in the multi-starrer Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. (2007) which was moderately successful. He appeared in a Yash Raj Films, titled Aaja Nachle which was released in November 2007. Mithya, which was released in February 2008, has Ranvir Shorey as the lead actor and has been critically acclaimed. Recently Ranvir was seen in movies like Ugly Aur Pagli and box office hit Singh Is Kinng.

Shivani Raghuvanshi

Shivani Raghuvanshi is an Indian actress who has worked in 2015 Hindi film Titli. Her upcoming film is Leader, an Imtiaz Ali production.

Career

Shivani Raghuvanshi was born and brought up in Delhi. She did her honors in botany at Delhi University. She later came to Mumbai and worked in a Vodafone advertisement. In 2014, Shivani worked in the film Titli.

Kanu Behl

Kanu Behl (born 13 June 1980) is an Indian film writer and director.

Early life and education

Kanu Behl spent his early years in Patiala, Punjab before moving to Delhi in 1990. Both his parents, Navnindra and Lalit Behl are writer-actor-directors and also directed telefims for the state-run Doordarshan channel.

He studied at Apeejay School, Noida and sought a Bachelors Degree in Business from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Delhi University. In 2003, he joined the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute and pursued a PG Diploma in Cinema. While at the Institute, he attended the Berlinale Talent Campus 2007 and made his documentary 'An Actor Prepares', about a struggling actor, who after seven years decides to give himself 15 days to make it in the film industry or return home. The documentary entered competitively at Cinéma du Réel 2007, a documentary film festival in France.

Career

After graduating from SRFTI, he produced and directed documentaries for international channels like NHK, Japan and ZDF/Arte. He worked with Dibakar Banerjee on the feature film Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! as an Assistant director. In 2010, he co-wrote the critically acclaimed Love Sex aur Dhokha with Banerjee and was the chief assistant director on the project.

Shashank Arora

Shashank Arora is an Indian actor, writer and musician.

Early life and education

Born 21 February 1989 in New Delhi, Shashank was interested in music and theatre from a young age. After finishing high school in early 2006, he left for Montreal, Canada to study cinema and music. While there, he briefly joined a street theatre group formed by human rights activists. In 2008, he moved to Mumbai where he studied acting for two years, to pursue a career in film.

Career

Shashank Arora first appeared as a supporting character in an indie feature film titled 'Myoho' (2012).

He then went on to play the title role in 'Titli' (2014) which was a part of the Official Selection, Un Certain Regard at the 2014 Cannes International Film Festival.

Post Titli, he completed work on his second film in late 2014, again in a title role, in the comedy Brahman Naman, which was a part of the Official Selection, World Cinema Dramatic Competition, at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.

He has since finished work on two more feature films, The Song of Scorpions and Rock On!! 2 which are both due for commercial release in India in late 2016.
