The long winter evenings may be drawing in but Bestival’s Summer of Love isn’t finished yet! Concentrating the very essence of our four-day love-athon into four gleaming minutes of unadulterated joy we present to you the Bestival Aftermovie 2015.
A veritable love potion in visual form, the Aftermovie lays bare the incredible style, beauty and energy of this year’s Bestival so we can all relive it again and again. Christmas might be round the corner but we're missing those Summer festival vibes so we're throwing it back to Bestival in September when Jamal Edwards hosted this years Temple Island, powered by SBTV in partnership with The Physical Network.
Jamal is a massive fan of Bestival and it was one of the very first festivals he went to. Partnering up this them this year was an honour for him & it gives us great pleasure to relive the experience with you all through this Aftermovie video. Comment below if you spot yourself!
Temple Island is all about having the party. All weekend long! It kicked off Thursday night with Austrian chart-botherers Klangkarussell, epic house purveyor Kidnap Kid, bass heavy Bristolian Woz & Bestival’s top castaway Rob da Bank went up against Robin Hill regular Tayo for a touch of Purple Rave and the Monkeylove Stunt Team.
Friday’s dancefloor indulgences included jacking action from T Williams, monstrous manoeuvres from Shadow Child, gigantic grimey garage finesse from Preditah, cut-up vocal comforts from Lxury, divine duo Maribou State going b2b with audio-chiseller Pedestrian, triple trouble on the double from Spoils And Monkey Wrench and siblings on a mission Star One.
On Saturday chart-toppers Sigma dropped the big hitters, we had garage vibes from Shift K3Y, heavyweight attitude from Ed Solo, genre-mashing deeds from My Nu Leng, rave behaviour from Friend Within, London Grammar’s Dot Major, predestined vibrations from Karma and a live set from sultry soul chanteuse Purple Ferdinand.
And, bringing Temple Island’s second Bestival outing to a triumphant close on Sunday was the Eton Messy crew who returned for another takeover, with their top boys’ own Blonde, fast rising Lancashire duo Bondax, Leeds twosome Wayward, Electric Minds’ skipper Dolan Bergin and Southern Fried’s own Kashii.
Later today we're unleashing Boy Better Know's set as well from Bestival so stay locked for that.

Bestival 2014 was a record breaker! Our four-day Desert Island Disco was an incredible paradise filled with the coolest castaways having the best party of all time. Ever.
Rocking our magical Desert Island location and casting their spell across a sea of sequins, we had headline sets from OutKast, Foals, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers and Beck, plus unbelievable disco action from Major Lazer, Disclosure, London Grammar, Basement Jaxx, Sven Väth, Annie Mac, Chase & Status, DJ Yoda, and The Cuban Brothers. There was more off the hook dancefloor behaviour at our brain-exploding rave boat The Port, the debut of our Invaders of the Future and Reggae Roots stages, the return of BBC Introducing and the magnificence of The Big Top hosted by BBC 6 Music, making it an incredible year for catching the best music around.

Bestival is a four-day music festival held at the Robin Hill country park on the Isle of Wight, England. It has been held annually in late summer since 2004. The event is organized by DJ and record producer Rob da Bank and is an off-shoot of his Sunday Best record label and club nights. The initial Bestival attracted 10,000 people, growing to 55,000 in 2010. In 2006 it was voted the Best (Medium-sized) Festival at the 2006 UK Festival Awards, and it was voted the best major UK festival in the UK festival awards 2010.
The festival has been held annually in late summer since 2004, in a small country park called 'Robin Hill'. The event is organized by BBC Radio 1 left field DJ Rob da Bank and is an off-shoot of his Sunday Best record label and club nights. Creative Director and wife Josie da Bank and co founders / partners John and Ziggy from Get Involved are also involved in organising the event.
In 2004, the festival was attended by 10,000 people, a figure which has since increased to 43,000 in 2009 and 55,000 in 2010.

Temple Island is all about having the party. All weekend long! It kicked off Thursday night with Austrian chart-botherers Klangkarussell, epic house purveyor Kidnap Kid, bass heavy Bristolian Woz & Bestival’s top castaway Rob da Bank went up against Robin Hill regular Tayo for a touch of Purple Rave and the Monkeylove Stunt Team.
Friday’s dancefloor indulgences included jacking action from T Williams, monstrous manoeuvres from Shadow Child, gigantic grimey garage finesse from Preditah, cut-up vocal comforts from Lxury, divine duo Maribou State going b2b with audio-chiseller Pedestrian, triple trouble on the double from Spoils And Monkey Wrench and siblings on a mission Star One.
On Saturday chart-toppers Sigma dropped the big hitters, we had garage vibes from Shift K3Y, heavyweight attitude from Ed Solo, genre-mashing deeds from My Nu Leng, rave behaviour from Friend Within, London Grammar’s Dot Major, predestined vibrations from Karma and a live set from sultry soul chanteuse Purple Ferdinand.
And, bringing Temple Island’s second Bestival outing to a triumphant close on Sunday was the Eton Messy crew who returned for another takeover, with their top boys’ own Blonde, fast rising Lancashire duo Bondax, Leeds twosome Wayward, Electric Minds’ skipper Dolan Bergin and Southern Fried’s own Kashii.
Later today we're unleashing Boy Better Know's set as well from Bestival so stay locked for that.

Rocking our magical Desert Island location and casting their spell across a sea of sequins, we had headline sets from OutKast, Foals, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers and Beck, plus unbelievable disco action from Major Lazer, Disclosure, London Grammar, Basement Jaxx, Sven Väth, Annie Mac, Chase & Status, DJ Yoda, and The Cuban Brothers. There was more off the hook dancefloor behaviour at our brain-exploding rave boat The Port, the debut of our Invaders of the Future and Reggae Roots stages, the return of BBC Introducing and the magnificence of The Big Top hosted by BBC 6 Music, making it an incredible year for catching the best music around.
