Lethal Enforcers (リーサルエンフォーサーズ Rīsaru Enfōsāzu) is a 1992 shooting game released for the arcades by Konami. The in-game graphics consist entirely of digitized photographs. This caused controversy as it allowed players to shoot photorealistic representations of enemies.
Home versions were released for the Super NES, Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and Sega CD during the following year and include a revolver-shaped light gun known as the Konami Justifier.
Lethal Enforcers was followed by Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters. Both games would later be released in the two-in-one compilation Lethal Enforcers I & II (Lethal Enforcers Deluxe Pack in Japan) for the PlayStation.
Years later, Konami released the Police 911 series as a Japan-themed sequel to the original plot. This was also followed by the arcade game Seigi No Hero, which was localized and renamed as Lethal Enforcers 3 for Western audiences.
Set in Chicago, Illinois, United States, the player takes control of a police officer named Don Marshall, who has one day decided to go to the donut shop for a break. While sipping the last drop of coffee, he gets a call from the police department. They said that a major crime organization has invaded town, and they need his help. He is one of the two survivors of the elite group of officers. The rest have ended up in the hospital or killed. Once the call ended, he decided to check out the bank. From that point on, he is going to experience the toughest job that he would have during his years in the police force. He has been assigned and agrees to help stop a growing crime wave that puts the city's security in serious jeopardy, along with a helper (a second player can join in).
Lethality (also called deadliness or perniciousness) is how capable something is of causing death. Most often it is used when referring to chemical weapons, biological weapons, or their toxic chemical components. The use of this term denotes the ability of these weapons to kill, but also the possibility that they may not kill. Reasons for the lethality of a weapon to be inconsistent, or expressed by percentage, can be as varied as minimized exposure to the weapon, previous exposure to the weapon minimizing susceptibility, degradation of the weapon over time and/or distance, and incorrect deployment of a multi-component weapon.
This term can also refer to the after-effects of weapon use, such as Nuclear Fallout, which has highest lethality nearest the deployment site, and in proportion to the subject's size and nature; e.g. a child or small animal.
Lethality can also refer to the after-effects of a chemical explosion. A lethality curve can be developed for process safety reasons to protect people and equipment. The impact is typically greatest closest to the explosion site and lessens to the outskirts of the impact zone. Pressure, toxicity and location affect the lethality.
The Enforcers were a professional wrestling tag team consisting of Arn Anderson and Larry Zbyszko who worked for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1991 and 1992. Together they held the WCW World Tag Team Championship and were voted the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Tag Team of the Year in 1991.
The Enforcers (named for Anderson's nom du guerre in The Four Horsemen) were formed when Arn Anderson and Larry Zbyszko started teaming in the summer of 1991 in WCW.Scott Steiner was injured in June and the WCW World Tag Team Championship had become vacant because the Steiner Brothers (Scott and Rick Steiner) were not able to defend the title within the 30 day window. The Enforcers were entered into the tournament for the titles and made it to the finals against Rick Steiner and Bill Kazmaier at Clash of the Champions XVI: Fall Brawl on September 5, 1991. The Enforcers were known for their dirty tactics and did not fail to deliver upon that at the Clash. They attacked Kazmaier with one of his weights during a power lifting demonstration at the beginning of the Clash. When the match came, they took advantage of his injured ribs and won the titles.
Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters (リーサルエンフォーサーズ2) (Lethal Enforcers II: The Western in Japan) is a 1994 arcade and prequel to the original Lethal Enforcers. In contrast with the first game's modern law enforcement theme, Lethal Enforcers II takes place in the American Old West.
Ports of the game were released for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and the Sega CD. The game was bundled along with the first Lethal Enforcers game as part of the PlayStation compilation Lethal Enforcers I & II.
Years later, Konami released Lethal Enforcers 3.
The object in the game is to shoot outlaws in order to eradicate crime from a stereotypical Old West town. At the beginning of the game, three to five life units are available. In the arcade version, more can be purchased by inserting additional coins. Life units are also awarded based on how many points the player scores while playing the game. Every time the player is shot or an innocent townsperson or lawmen is shot, one life unit will be lost. The game ends when all life units are gone, but continue play is available.
The Sega Genesis, known as the Mega Drive (Japanese: メガドライブ, Hepburn: Mega Doraibu) in most regions outside North America, is a 16-bit home video game console which was developed and sold by Sega Enterprises, Ltd. The Genesis was Sega's third console and the successor to the Master System. Sega first released the console as the Mega Drive in Japan in 1988, followed by a North American debut under the Genesis moniker in 1989. In 1990, the console was distributed as the Mega Drive by Virgin Mastertronic in Europe, by Ozisoft in Australasia, and by Tec Toy in Brazil. In South Korea, the systems were distributed by Samsung and were known as the Super Gam*Boy (Hangul: 수퍼겜보이), and later the Super Aladdin Boy (Hangul: 수퍼알라딘보이).
Designed by an R&D team supervised by Hideki Sato and Masami Ishikawa, the Genesis hardware was adapted from Sega's System 16 arcade board, centered on a Motorola 68000 processor as a primary CPU and a Zilog Z80 as a secondary processor. The system supports a library of more than 900 games created both by Sega and a wide array of third-party publishers and delivered on ROM-based cartridges. It can also play Master System games when the separately sold Power Base Converter is installed. The Genesis has benefited from several peripherals and network services, as well as multiple first-party and third-party variations of the console that focus on extending its functionality.

A beginning to end playthrough of Konami's 1997 Playstation game, Lethal Enforcers I & II. An incredible (nearly) arcade-perfect port of two Konami classic shooters. It's amazing how many light years beyond the quality of the 16-bit ports released years earlier these are! _________________ No cheats were used during the recording of this video. A playthrough of Konami's 1993 Super NES port of the classic light-gun shooter arcade game, Lethal Enforcers. *NOTE* This video has been replaced by an improved playthrough video in my SNES playlist. Please see the newer version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=My_4TYwqlRU Played through on the normal difficulty level. This is a great port. It's a bit less fluid than the Sega Genesis and CD versions, but all three are great renditions of a fantastic genre pillar. If I had to choose between the three, I'd have to give the SNES version the nod because of the graphic and sound quality (this soundtack makes the SNES chip sing in a way that modern-day synth has long forgotten - but it sounds fantastic. It's very similar in sound quality (and in the sounds of the instrument samples) to ...

Lethal Enforcers Comparison - Sega Genesis/ Mega Drive vs Super Nintendo/ Snes.
http://www.longplays.org Played By:- MadMatty This is pretty much the exact same games as the cartridge version but with the Arcade Audio on the cd. It can be damned hard at times to shoot targets in time on the joypad, sometimes with not enough time to get from one side of the screen to the other.
In current, my skill is not reach to clear this game with only one credit. Thus, this movie is for introduce of Lethal Enforcers II Arcade game. A playthrough of Konami's 1993 Sega Genesis light-gun shooter arcade port, Lethal Enforcers. This is a great port. Sure, the characters are small and everything is as badly dithered as any FMV game on the Sega CD, but it's smoother and faster than the SNES version, so it's really a toss-up. They're both great for different reasons, but there's no denying how awesomely harsh and raunchy the Genesis' FM synth can get on some of these tracks. ____________ No cheats were used during the recording of this video.
