Haaga (Swedish: Haga) is a district and a former municipality in the Western major district of Helsinki with a population of 25,435.
Haaga is divided into four subareas, which are Pohjois-Haaga (northern Haaga), Etelä-Haaga (southern Haaga), Kivihaka and Lassila.
Haaga has two railway stations: Huopalahti railway station in south and Pohjois-Haaga railway station in north. Frequent users of the trains are students attending Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, as their campuses are spread out between 25-45 minutes between each other by train.
Studies at the University include: business, finance, hospitality and tourism (including masters level), information technology, and management assistance. All these courses are available to exchange students interested in attending.

Trent Haaga is a low-budget horror actor, screenwriter, and filmmaker.
Haaga came to the attention of the horror community after co-starring in the Troma film Terror Firmer. He went on to fill the role of screenwriter as well as assistant director on the fourth film in the Toxic Avenger series, Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV. Due to also playing the leader of the Diaper Mafia in this film, he was forced to direct many scenes in the film while wearing a baby bonnet and an adult diaper. He relates many of these experiences as co-author of the book Make Your Own Damn Movie! written with Lloyd Kaufman of Troma.
He has worked in many aspects of filmmaking (writing, producing, acting) and enjoys them all.
Haaga works in independent film and has stated that he likes the advances made in digital cinematography.
Haaga has praised the speed of digital filmmaking.
Haaga works currently on his directorial debut "Chop" which stars Tanishaa Mukherji and Billy Bakshi, he wrote the script for the independent thriller alongside Adam Minarovich. The movie is a revenge thriller within the tradition of Fargo and Oldboy. Haaga narrated the Indie thriller flick Fetch.
Tiffany Shepis (born September 11, 1979) is an American actress from New York City, who has been involved in film-making since the age of 12. She is popularly known as a "scream queen" in several horror films.
Shepis got her start playing the part of Peter in James Gunn's first film Tromeo and Juliet. Shepis continued working in the genre she loved most, horror. Making several horror films a year, Shepis quickly became a fan favorite within the horror community in films such as Scarecrow, Syfy's Abominable and the Sundance horror flick The Violent Kind. Shepis most recently was part of the record breaking Sharknado 2, the horror comedy The Night Watchmen, the anthology Tales of Halloween and also provided voice work for popular TV show Robot Chicken.
Shepis married writer/director Sean Tretta in 2010. They have two children and currently reside in California.
