Géant Casino
Géant Casino (French pronunciation: [ʒeɑ̃ kɑzino]) is a hypermarket chain based in Saint-Étienne, France, part of the French retailing giant Groupe Casino.
As of February 2016, it had 120 stores in France.
History
Géant was opened its first hypermarket in 1970. In June 2013, Géant Casino had about 130 hypermarkets all over the world. The concept is, like most hypermarkets, to have all kinds of items available under one roof. A loyalty card system has been introduced by Géant, with a price discount on certain groceries. There are over two million Géant card-holders.
Géant Casino is the fifth largest hypermarket chain in the world and the fourth largest in France after Carrefour, E.Leclerc and Auchan.

Middle East
Fu-Com joined with Groupe Casino to bring the Géant hypermarket brand to the Middle-East where Géant opened its first store in Bahrain May 2001. A store was opened in Dubai in 2005 and one in Abu Dhabi in 2015 at Yas Mall. In Qatar, Groupe Casino joined with local supermarket chain Al Meera to open a hypermarket in Hyatt Plaza, and to sell Casino products in Al Meera stores.

GÉANT is the pan-European data network for the research and education community. It interconnects national research and education networks (NRENs) across Europe, enabling collaboration on projects ranging from biological science to earth observation and arts & culture. The GÉANT project combines a high-bandwidth, high-capacity 50,000 km network with a growing range of services. These allow researchers to collaborate, working together wherever they are located. Services include identity and trust, multi-domain monitoring perfSONAR MDM, dynamic circuits and roaming via the eduroam service.
Together with European NRENs, GÉANT connects 50 million users in over 10,000 institutions. Through links to research networks in other regions (such as Internet2 and ESnet in the USA, AfricaConnect in Africa, TEIN in Asia-Pacific and RedCLARA in Latin America), GÉANT enables collaboration between researchers in over half the world’s countries.
Co-funded by the European Commission and Europe’s NRENs, the GÉANT network was built and is operated by DANTE. The GÉANT project is a collaboration between 41 partners: 38 European NRENs, DANTE, TERENA and NORDUnet (representing the five Nordic countries), and 30 Open Call project partners.
Madison (dog)
Madison is a Labrador Retriever, and an animal actor best known for playing the role of Vincent the dog on the hit television series Lost.
Even though she is female, she plays a male dog on the TV show Lost.
Biography
Madison is from Hawaii, and her owner is Kim Stahl, an accountant and part-time dog trainer. Before becoming a performer, Madison worked as a tracking dog and obedience competitor. In 2001, Madison ranked eighth among the best obedience dogs in Hawaii. Stahl also owns relatives of Madison, including two of her daughters, Byrddee and Jane.

Madison is a surname of English origin, which has become a popular given name in the United States. Madison, commonly spelled Maddison in Northeastern England, is a variant of Mathieson, meaning son of Matthew, although possibly occasionally standing for son of Maddy, where Maddy is a pet form of Maud.
Madison is also used as a given name. As a name, it has become popular for girls in recent decades. Its rise is generally attributed to the 1984 release of the movie Splash. From a practically non-existent girl's name before 1985, Madison rose to being the second-most-popular name given to female babies in 2001. It has since declined in popularity as a girl's name, however, slipping to seventh place by 2009.
