Everywhere you look there are huge stories to emerge from today's footy action.

Collingwood, Richmond and Fremantle - three teams who many predicted would make the top four this year - are in huge trouble.

The Magpies were warm favourites against winless St Kilda but were torn apart by the Saints' relentless leg speed and work ethic. So much so, that Alan Richardson's men went to another level in the second half despite missing Nick Riewoldt and Paddy McCartin for its entirety!

Collingwood now find themselves spluttering at 1-2 and if it wasn't for a flukey last-gasp kick from Brodie Grundy against Richmond, they would be 0-3.

Speaking of Richmond, the Tigers are in a big hole too after being absolutely destroyed by Adelaide at Etihad Stadium.

You would have thought that after last week's capitulation against the Pies, Damien Hardwick's men would have come out breathing fire this week. But they hardly gave a yelp as the slick Crows ran riot to coast to a six-goal win.

Richmond are now 1-2 as well, with their only win an uninspiring nine-point triumph against Carlton in Round 1.

And things go from bad to worse for the Dockers. After being blown away by West Coast in the final quarter they are now 0-3 for the first time since 2009 with their top-four hopes in tatters. In fact, they're going to find it mighty tough to make the finals full stop now.

Meanwhile, Sydney and Gold Coast occupy the top two spots on the ladder after maintaining their undefeated starts to the season against GWS and Carlton respectively.

Thanks for joining us today, we hope you enjoyed the coverage!
