It's been a week since "The Ape," the Bape-loving, Supreme-hating man made his presence known with a video of him running up on Jonah Hill. Word of The Ape spread quickly around the internet thanks to viral videos in which he went around New York City terrorizing people wearing Supreme.
It appears that The Ape is now striking fear into the hearts of even potential customers who want to avoid getting "violated." Reddit user "adjectives_are_great" posted a conversation he had with a Grailed user.

On Monday, the first part of Sold Out hit the Internet. The subsequent parts rolled out over the rest of the week, but if you've been patiently waiting to take in the entire project in one sitting, your day has come. Above you'll find the full-length cut of Sold Out, with all four parts edited into a single cohesive whole.

In 1994, James Jebbia opened the first Supreme location in a small storefront on Lafayette Street in New York. At the time, Supreme was a brand for skaters by skaters—even the design for the shop was more open so skaters could come right in with their skateboards. But today, 21 years later, Supreme is a legendary streetwear brand that’s cultivated a cult following well beyond that original fan base. Continuing to release product in tightly controlled, limited amounts, the brand is as big as it wants to be in New York, Los Angeles, and London; a titan in Japan—arguably its largest market.
Complex has covered Supreme for well over a decade (Complex was founded in 2002). Most of it was from afar; we wrote about releases or lookbooks. But for the last year or so, our Complex News team has been reporting from the Lafayette Street shop to cover in-store launches. Every story was the same: Lines snaked around the block, kids camped out for hours or days, sometimes even in subfreezing temperatures, just to get any Supreme item. Each Thursday drop was chaos. In April 2014, the NYPD canceled the Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite One in-store launch at the NYC flagship after a riot nearly broke out earlier that day.
But there was something much bigger here. We learned that many were in line to purchase gear that they’d later flip online for big profits, selling apparel and other items for as much as 1,200 percent above retail value. “We started to get to know these people and realized there was a business here and real money to be made,” explains Emily Oberg, Complex Editorial Producer and one of the directors of this documentary. While the reselling market is hardly new, and people have been selling Supreme online for years, it’s yet to be the focus of serious investigation—until now.

This week, Supreme dropped the second half of its collaboration with North Face, bringing out tons of hypebeasts as you'd expect. Included in the drop was a Steep Tech crewneck, short sleeve t-shirts and a 6-panel hat, all in an array of brightly colored hues like turquoise, yellow, red as well as black and white. Though this drop wasn't the most hyped of them all, there was still a good amount of the usual suspects out there, scheming and trying to get their hands on whatever was left.

Early this morning, there were rumors that the resellers who were featured in our Sold Out: The Underground Economy of Supreme Resellers documentary were banned from the store.
We reached out to those same resellers and they confirmed this isn't true. According to Andre, who goes by the name of @solestreetsneakerco, he wasn't banned from the Lafayette Street store. "Not at all, I just cleaned house," he told Complex via e-mail. "They did however limit me to Xls only and have the reason that it came from higher up because I took it too far on the doc. It sucks but I'm hoping the good that came from it out weighs the bad in the long run." He adds that he wishes Supreme would reach out to him directly and talk to him him about what their issue was.
Another reseller, who asked to remain anonymous, says the resellers who took part in the documentary are only allowed to buy their size. "Corporate cracked down and it's a big thing now." According to him, Charlie, the security guard who mans the door at the Supreme New York store, was fired because of the documentary.

Robbie Williams
Robert Peter "Robbie" Williams (born 13 February 1974) is an English singer, songwriter, and actor. He was a member of the pop group Take That from 1990 to 1995 and again from 2009 to 2012. He has also had commercial success as a solo artist.
Williams rose to fame in the band's first run in the early-to-mid-1990s. After many disagreements with the management and group members, Williams left the group in 1995 to launch a hugely successful solo career, which saw his first seven albums each reach number one in the UK. Williams also released seven number-one singles and found similar success across Europe. On 15 July 2010, it was announced he had rejoined Take That. The group's subsequent album became the second fastest-selling album in UK chart history and the fastest-selling record of the century at the time.Gary Barlow has since confirmed that Williams had left the band for a second time, although the departure was amicable and that Williams was welcome to rejoin the band in the future.

In 1994, James Jebbia opened the first Supreme location in a small storefront on Lafayette Street in New York. At the time, Supreme was a brand for skaters by skaters—even the design for the shop was more open so skaters could come right in with their skateboards. But today, 21 years later, Supreme is a legendary streetwear brand that’s cultivated a cult following well beyond that original fan base. Continuing to release product in tightly controlled, limited amounts, the brand is as big as it wants to be in New York, Los Angeles, and London; a titan in Japan—arguably its largest market. Complex has covered Supreme for well over a decade (Complex was founded in 2002). Most of it was from afar; we wrote about releases or lookbooks. But for the last year or so, our Complex News team has been reporting from the Lafayette Street shop to cover in-store launches. Every story was the same: Lines snaked around the block, kids camped out for hours or days, sometimes even in subfreezing temperatures, just to get any Supreme item. Each Thursday drop was chaos. In April 2014, the NYPD canceled the Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite One in-store launch at the NYC flagship after a riot nearly broke out earlier that day. But there was something much bigger here. We learned that many were in line to purchase gear that they’d later flip online for big profits, selling apparel and other items for as much as 1,200 percent above retail value. “We started to get to know these people and realized there was a business here and real money to be made,” explains Emily Oberg, Complex Editorial Producer and one of the directors of this documentary. While the reselling market is hardly new, and people have been selling Supreme online for years, it’s yet to be the focus of serious investigation—until now. The first episode of Sold Out: The Underground Economy of Supreme Resellers lays the foundation for the story at hand. Legendary writer Glenn O’Brien, along with top menswear editors, make sense of the hype around Supreme and explain the brand’s success. We also introduce you to the world of Supreme reselling where $40 T-shirts can be upsold to $500. Early this morning, there were rumors that the resellers who were featured in our Sold Out: The Underground Economy of Supreme Resellers documentary were banned from the store. We reached out to those same resellers and they confirmed this isn't true. According to Andre, who goes by the name of @solestreetsneakerco, he wasn't banned from the Lafayette Street store. "Not at all, I just cleaned house," he told Complex via e-mail. "They did however limit me to Xls only and have the reason that it came from higher up because I took it too far on the doc. It sucks but I'm hoping the good that came from it out weighs the bad in the long run." He adds that he wishes Supreme would reach out to him directly and talk to him him about what their issue was. Another reseller, who asked to remain anonymous, says the resellers who took part in the documentary are only allowed to buy their size. "Corporate cracked down and it's a big thing now." According to him, Charlie, the security guard who mans the door at the Supreme New York store, was fired because of the documentary. We've reached out to Supreme for comment. This week, Supreme dropped the second half of its collaboration with North Face, bringing out tons of hypebeasts as you'd expect. Here's What Happened at Supreme's First Drop of the Spring/Summer 2016 Season
Early this morning, there were rumors that the resellers who were featured in our Sold Out: The Underground Economy of Supreme Resellers documentary were banned from the store. We reached out to those same resellers and they confirmed this isn't true. According to Andre, who goes by the name of @solestreetsneakerco, he wasn't banned from the Lafayette Street store. "Not at all, I just cleaned house," he told Complex via e-mail. "They did however limit me to Xls only and have the reason that it came from higher up because I took it too far on the doc. It sucks but I'm hoping the good that came from it out weighs the bad in the long run." He adds that he wishes Supreme would reach out to him directly and talk to him him about what their issue was. In 1994, James Jebbia opened the first Supreme location in a small storefront on Lafayette Street in New York. At the time, Supreme was a brand for skaters by skaters—even the design for the shop was more open so skaters could come right in with their skateboards. But today, 21 years later, Supreme is a legendary streetwear brand that’s cultivated a cult following well beyond that original fan base. Continuing to release product in tightly controlled, limited amounts, the brand is as big as it wants to be in New York, Los Angeles, and London; a titan in Japan—arguably its largest market.
Complex has covered Supreme for well over a decade (Complex was founded in 2002). Most of it was from afar; we wrote about releases or lookbooks. But for the last year or so, our Complex News team has been reporting from the Lafayette Street shop to cover in-store launches. Every story was the same: Lines snaked around the block, kids camped out for hours or days, sometimes even in subfreezing temperatures, just to get any Supreme item. Each Thursday drop was chaos. In April 2014, the NYPD canceled the Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite One in-store launch at the NYC flagship after a riot nearly broke out earlier that day.
But there was something much bigger here. We learned that many were in line to purchase gear that they’d later flip online for big profits, selling apparel and other items for as much as 1,200 percent above retail value. “We started to get to know these people and realized there was a business here and real money to be made,” explains Emily Oberg, Complex Editorial Producer and one of the directors of this documentary. While the reselling market is hardly new, and people have been selling Supreme online for years, it’s yet to be the focus of serious investigation—until now.

This week, Supreme dropped the second half of its collaboration with North Face, bringing out tons of hypebeasts as you'd expect. Included in the drop was a Steep Tech crewneck, short sleeve t-shirts and a 6-panel hat, all in an array of brightly colored hues like turquoise, yellow, red as well as black and white. Though this drop wasn't the most hyped of them all, there was still a good amount of the usual suspects out there, scheming and trying to get their hands on whatever was left.

Early this morning, there were rumors that the resellers who were featured in our Sold Out: The Underground Economy of Supreme Resellers documentary were banned from the store.
We reached out to those same resellers and they confirmed this isn't true. According to Andre, who goes by the name of @solestreetsneakerco, he wasn't banned from the Lafayette Street store. "Not at all, I just cleaned house," he told Complex via e-mail. "They did however limit me to Xls only and have the reason that it came from higher up because I took it too far on the doc. It sucks but I'm hoping the good that came from it out weighs the bad in the long run." He adds that he wishes Supreme would reach out to him directly and talk to him him about what their issue was.
Another reseller, who asked to remain anonymous, says the resellers who took part in the documentary are only allowed to buy their size. "Corporate cracked down and it's a big thing now." According to him, Charlie, the security guard who mans the door at the Supreme New York store, was fired because of the documentary.
